So they are again going to launch a sneak attack on Alexander's security forces protecting Barsine and her family. I am wondering if Ambhikumar has been sent by Alexander with false information about his troops, but he was always against his father's decision so it's possible he's rebelling now. Your wish will come true - we'll see more of Barsine now. Something must happen that would prevent the rescue - either the soldiers in the camp will retaliate or the black magic will take over at some point. Or, if (in my dreams) Alexander has set up a trap for them via Ambhikumar that would be spectacular.

Besides, what sort of grand plan is this? Why would the Farsi soldiers desert Alexander to join forces with Porus? Don't they know that Porus is the one who ousted Darius from Bharat? Anyway, historically speaking the Farsi soldiers fought for Alexander in the final battle.

So Chanakya and Porus are sending fake news about Olympias' journey? I wonder how they're doing that. They don't know how to emulate her and do not understand how her mind works. Now Chanakya suddenly knows about Macedonian religious customs?

Hephaestion ko bhi Cleitus ki bimaari lag gayi - seedha hamla bolna chah raha tha Dasyu par lekin Alexander ne rok liya.

Alexander again showed his superb understanding of human psychology as he could already guess what conditions the Dasyus would put forward. Dasyurani was very impressed. 😉

If the Dasyus were to ever fight alongside Alexander it would be because they wanted to and not because anyone forced them to. They have understood that Alexander respects their freedom of choice and his official document was a great way of sealing the deal without wasting any more time. Nice touch by the CVs. Besides, he is well aware of their conflict of interest, considering Laachi is married there.

So if the whole of Taxila and all of Alexander's army is going to be busy bridge building, who's going to counter the Barsine rescue mission? Will she go with him? Will Porus succeed and will we then see Alexander go ballistic? Or will Alexander stop him or maybe even Barsine in the nick of time with some other heavy words about dhoka and seene pe war, etc?

And if Barsine is already his wife (through an offscreen marriage) then this won't work. I am betting Olympias' timely black magic attempts will play a major role. 🥱

I don't think Ambikumar is cheating on Puru. But if Alexander comes to know of this, Ambiraj ka kya hoga fir 😕

They are really throwing at us totally unexpected and weird plot twists. No one knows what might happen. Pata nahin war hogi bhi ya nahin 🤣 Aur ab to Roxanne bhi gayab h!

One: Barsine will open her saucer eyes even wider and squeak at Porus, who is whispering to her to make haste and scoot with him, "Main Shah Alexander to chhodkar kaise aa sakti hoon? Wo to mere shauhar hain!", in the best 🤣 moment in a long while.

But supposing that he does pull off the rescue act, why would the Persian troops, all of whom must be having families back in Persia, at the mercy of Alexander's governor there, risk the lives of their families and side with Porus? And whom is Porus going to conclude a sandhi with after rescuing Barsine and Co.? It is ill considered nonsense, and Chanakya looks distinctly doubtful about it all.

Two, if Porus does pull off the rescue, leaving Alexander with a black eye if nothing else, does that mean that he will kill Cleitus for that failing? Then he will have to balance things out by executing Hephaestion for the far more serious mistake of not making sure personally that Olympias is fine.

Maybe this is how Porus will win the final battle, by making sure that Alexander is left with neither of the only two generals that SidT could afford on that 500 crore budget.

He had better squeeze out some funds for a good shampoo and hair stylist for Alexander. His golden mop is looking distinctly scraggly under that coronet.

Finally, Alexander is getting to be quite a whiz at whipping white parchment out of nowhere and sticking it under the nose of his bewildered interlocutor. Then Porus, now the Dasyusraj!

But this time his startling display of mind reading and advance planning was dazzling even by his standards. I was delighted with my boy's cleverness, Dasyusraj had a slack jaw attack, and even the Dasyurani, a stern critic of mankind at large, was duly impressed.

Yeah, when Ambhikumar said that Cleitus was in charge of Barsine's security, I thought "uh-oh, yeh to gaya!"

This Cleitus is far too gentle and I just don't see him being able to stop Barsine from being rescued. 😆Especially if Barsine is indeed Alexander's wife already, Oh my goodness! Cleitus is so dead!

Remember the Cleitus who helped Alexander bring Pausanias over to their side? That guy was a lion and this one a mouse.

And later when Alexander finds out about Olympias then he will want to put a spear through Hephaestion too. Both his generals will prove to be useless to him, like his kaarigar who failed to build a bridge.

Swimming championships coming up at some point.
