Hello friends back with new update .Part 11
Ishraru settled in the car and drove towards their society while their parents followed them in another car . Raman was busy in driving,ruhi was sleeping in Ishita's arms while ishita was stealing glances at Raman . She was recalling their little moment and was feeling goosebumps recalling his touches . Soon they reached their society ,Raman stopped the car and get down from it ,ishita was trying to come out holding ruhi in her arms but Raman signalled her to stop . She stopped,he walked to her side ,opened the door and took ruhi in his arms ,then told her to come out . Raman kept ruhi in his shoulder and was waiting ishita to come out ,she did same and was walking from there ,when her lahenga stuck in car door and she was about to fell ,Raman noticed this and held Ishita with his free hand ,she without wasting time hide herself in him while he wrapped his arms around her and asked " ishita are you also sleepy like ruhi ".
I- no Raman actually wo kya haina , my lahenga got stuck and I didn't noticed it. sorry .
R(bit rudely )-- you should be careful .
I- yeah ,I will be from now .
Saying so ishita made a dirty face but Raman didn't noticed it as he was lost in his own world . Soon they reached their floor ,ishita bid adieu to ruman and went to her house while Raman entered his house . As all were too tired , everybody changed and went to bed as next day will be more tiring than this . Next day morning ishra haldi was done ,as both the houses were close to each other and ruhi don't wanted to juggle between both houses ,she gave idea for haldi in one place . At first some elders opposes it but then agreed , ishra were called in iyer house to do the haldi ritual as toshiji wanted ishita to enter as their daughter in law only . Ishra sat beside each other ,at first haldi was applied on Raman then ishita . Though Ishita's friends and Raman's cousins wanted them to apply haldi on each other but they didn't as Raman don't want to do that while Ishita was shy as well as bit upset with Raman as he has shouted on her last night . Soon the haldi ritual was done between Lil teasing and much enjoyment . After that bhalla's and their relatives went back to their house and all got busy in getting ready for evening for marriage .
In evening iyers reached first on the venue ,Mr iyer and some of his relatives were looking for the preperation while rest were getting ready .Ishita got ready in red kanjiwaram saree with lot of gold jewelries ,her long hairs were tied in nice braid beautifully decorated with flower strings . She was looking ethereal in her look ,amma got emotional seeing her daughter dressed in bridal attire . Amma was talking to Ishita when they heard dhol sounds , amma smiled and spoke " seems the baraat has come ".
Saying so she was going out when ishita asked " amma can I see it ".
A- why not kanna ,come .
Saying so she told some of girls to take ishita to the balcony ,so that she can see the baraat . Ishita went to balcony while amma went downstairs to welcome the baraat . Ishita stood with her friends and saw Bhalla's dancing happily ,ruhi was in front ,she was dancing like a cute doll, all were busy in dancing while Raman was sitting in a nicely decorated horse . Mr and Mrs bhalla pulled Ishita's parents too and they too started dancing with Bhalla's while ishita was smiling happily looking at them and was admiring Raman .
Soon he got down from the horse , amma put tilak on his forehead and did aarti ,then all came inside the hall . Raman went to the stage and ishita was called . She came down holding a flower garland surrounding with her friends . She climbed the stage with the help of her friends while ruhi was calling her from stage . Ishra stood face to face and Ishita was instructed to put the garland on Raman's neck. She tried to put the garland on his neck but his cousins lifted him, ishita saw this and stopped while Raman told the boys not to do mischiefs . They made a dirty face and put him down , ishita saw this and put the garland in his neck ,he too did same .
Later in night Raman was sitting in mandap while ishita was in her room . Panditji was enchanting the holy mantras and finally Ishita was called . Ishita came and was going to sit beside Raman when Panditji stopped her and told her to sit facing Raman with her parents . At first the ritual of kanyadaan will be performed ,then only she can sit beside him.Saying so Panditji instructed appa to join ishra hand and then perform the ritual by giving Ishita's hands in Raman's hand . Appa did same ,his eyes became moist and he spoke to Raman" I m giving you not only my daughter but my soul. Though she is a happy soul but she had seen lot of ups and downs in her life . Do take good care of my daughter as we did , if she commit some mistake you can complain us,even can also scold her but never leave her .
R- you don't worry uncle ..
A- appa kanna ,from now onwards you can call me appa as ishu does .
R- you don't worry appa ,I will take good care of her ,she will have all the rights and respect as my wife but I too wanna have one promise from her .
All saw him with questioning eyes while their mother's looked at each other with scared expression that's when Raman spoke " ishita my daughter has already gone through so much in such tender stage .I want a promise from you that whatever may be the situation you will take care of my daughter and will not hurt her ,as I had seen how much she loves you ."
I- you don't worry Raman ,I too love ruhi equally as she does ,I will never ever leave her side .
Both saw each other sharing a brief eyelock as if assuring the other that they mean what they are saying . Soon the kanyadaan was over and ishita was now sitting with Raman . Soon they were instructed to take pheres ,they took the seven rounds of holy fire then Raman put vermilion in her partition she closed her eyes feeling the moment when she felt him tying mangalsutra around her neck . A tear rolled down from her cheek with the realization that she is married now ,finally she got her soulmate who will be together with her always . Ishita's trance broke when she heard the priest announcing them husband and wife . She looked at Raman who was getting up from his place to go and take their parents blessings . Ishita too joined him,they at first took Panditji's blessing then their parents and then to other elders of the family . All then left the venue and returned back to their houses ,toshiji happily did ishra grihpravesh with ruhi . Ishra went together to his room ,there Raman took his cloths and other things, then told ruhi to be with ishita and went from there .
