Filmfare : Siddharth and Kriti in Ek Villain's Sequel - Page 3

Back in 2014, Mohit Suri who is known for his thriller genre made "Ek Villain" starring Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor, and Riteish, Deshmukh in the lead roles. But, recently, there were some rumours that the filmmaker is planning to make a sequel to it but, this time with Sidharth Malhotra and Kriti Sanon.

However, in an interview with a leading tabloid, the director refuted the rumours of making a sequel to the film. He said, "I've heard that I am making Ek Villain 2 and that I already have a bound script which has been given to Aditya. But nothing like that is happening. Ek Villan is a Balaji Telefilms property and they haven't approached me yet."

Well, not Ek Villain 2 then the director is going to be treating his fans with another thriller starring Aditya Roy Kapoor with whom he had earlier worked in Aashiqui 2. When asked about the same, Mohit said, "Yes, I am working with Aditya. It will be a thriller." He further added, "My earlier films like Murder 2 and Kalyug were also the same genre."

Earlier in an interview, he had also said, "I am working on a script and dying to work with Aditya. Even as friends, I have to wow him with the script. Once I am done writing, I will pitch it to him."

It was reported that he is planning to take Shraddha Kapoor in the film with Aditya. When asked to comment on it, he said, "I don't know that as yet. Working with both of them would be great since I share a bond with them. After Aashiqui 2, I would love to work with them once again."
