I'm new to this forum page. I recently started watching the show. And just saw the episode where Ahaan reveals to his mother the truth.
That episode forced me to come here on this page and voice my opinion.
I'm really very very impressed by the CVs, the way they handled Aparna's' character is worth all the appreciation and praise.
They moved away from typical over-protective mother of the male leads. This was definitely something fresh for me to see. I'm not sure there might be some other shows with something similar, but I'm not aware of those. And that doesn't stop me from appreciating the way CVs and dialogue writer crafted the dialogues. The way they showed that she put her feelings/empathy as a women before everything else, is really beautiful. The way they showed that she does understand the Pankti and not judge her by her situation.
And I also appreciate the way she was shown to encourage Ahaan to never let Pankti down.
All in all, it was very nice to see this on screen. It's great to see that we are promoting the POV that women are not always at fault when they get stuck in situations like this.
Thank you for giving it a read.
