RiKara: Drabble ~ Kara Series #17- Protective-Kara [#18 UPDATED]

PROTECTIVE-KARA

I looked at Shivay bhaiya, Annika, Sowmya and Rudra stare at me with wide grins on their faces. Rudra was the first one to speak, "I will no more be the youngest one in the family. he complained but with a smile. Shivay bhaiya flipped his head playfully then turned to me, "Where is papa Oberoi? he asked.

I shrugged rolling my eyes. Ever since the doctor confirmed my pregnancy, Omkara has gone into fits of sort. Even now he has gone to arrange healthy snacks for me for this in house party. I don't even want to imagine how healthy snacks will taste. If it is anything like that salad breakfast he keeps feeding me, then Omkara Singh Oberoi is gonna have a hard day. Already I am angry at him for making my so called birthday party a normal get together with only six of us.

"I am here. Announced Om carrying two bags of snacks, hopefully.

Omkara settled beside me with a smile and passed bag of chips to me. I took it from him and the moment I tasted it, my expression changed. All began to laugh seeing me. I glared at Om.

"What is this? I asked

"Fruit chips. He said with a proud expression, "Very good for your health.

"Fruit chips!!! chorused everyone and Rudra literally rolled down laughing.

"Shut up Rudra. Warned Om. "Shona, it is healthy and I have got even laddu for you. " he said

"laddu!! I asked happily, they are my favourite.

"Yeah!! Dry fruits Laddu. He added

"OMMM... I am pregnant; don't you think I should eat what I like?

"But it should be healthy, only then baby will be healthy.

"But...

"Shh!! It is okay... Annika interrupted. "Gauri, forget him. You tell me whatever you want to eat; I will make it for you in home itself, so that it is clean and healthy.

"Yeah! And if Om interrupts at that time then let me know I will handle him. Shivay bhaiya promised.

"Now, time for celebration. Said Rudra passing wine to everyone and fruit juice to me.

"I cannot drink alcohol. Gauri is pregnant. Om announced not even touching the glass.

"God Om, I am pregnant, not you. I said irritated at his behaviour

"Gauri, I am the father. I cannot have anything that you will not. "he said cutely

How can I not fall in love with this man again and again? I immediately kissed his cheeks earning an awww' from others present.

Awww..!! DaddyKara is the best...I loved how his world revolved around Ri and the baby..all he could think is of hiw wife and unborn baby...he's gonna be the best father..haaye..!! God bless them...
