HUSBAND-KARA
It was no different than a typical high class elite wedding, but everything was special to me. The decoration is to my liking, the menu was my choice, the music playing is my favourite and I am dressed in my dream lehanga. I was walking towards the mandap in middle of the living room to the man of my dreams.
"As much as Omkara tries to run away from relationships, I know he will be the first one to get hitched. Said daadi
"Omkara is the most sensible of the three, he will make you very happy. Said Shakti uncle.
"I am happy Jhanvi is getting a beautiful bahu said Pinky aunty
"Mend his ways. Said Tej uncle
"I was worried for Om. He seemed so distant while growing up and I was scared that my life miseries have made my son cynical. But, now that he has found you I am sure he will be happy. Said Jhanvi aunty
"No wonder how my brooding brother managed to write romantic poetry, after all he found a right muse in right time. Said Shivay bhaiya
"Now, don't think I will call you Bhabhi okay? said Rudra playfully
"Ha! Finally you will be married and I don't have to keep watchful eyes on you and bade baal wale bhaiya on daadi's insistence. Sighed Sowmya
"I am glad at least one Oberoi is sensible enough to propose marriage to the girl he likes. Said Anika
Everyone was happy in their own way for us. Omkara was everything that I expected him to be and more. He was loving, caring, sensitive, charming and extremely adorable. And he was also everything I didn't expect him to be. He was funny, patient and romantic.
Our courtship period was the best two months of my life. He was extremely attentive. He accompanied me personally to all shopping and other wedding preparations. He gave importance to my opinions and respected even smallest of my wishes. Everyone who met us after the engagement told him that he was lucky to marry me and even he believes that, but I know that I am luckier to marry the best man in the whole wide world. I am truly, madly and deeply in love with Omkara Singh Oberoi.
