"Wo hai ek ladki. Art exhibition mein mili thi. she is business man Melwani's daughter. usko art aur artistic creations zyaada pasand tha. somehow she got my number from my assistants. From then on, she keeps on sending her pictures and proposal messages like to an annoying level. Maine 4 number block ki hain, par wo ladki nayi nayi number se pictures messages send karte rahi. I told her i am married. She isn't ready to believe. Keh rahi hai, am avoiding her by saying so. Kal khanna se inform karna padega. I will ask him to check and take action, offline" He kept the phone between them, while gauri picked it up.

"Main dekh sakthi hoon" Gauri couldn't resist the temptation to see it urgently while Omkaara smiled.

"Go on"

She saw the messages and opened a picture. The girl has posed in a really revealing dress. Gauri shut it and deleted the image immediately.

"Chi..chi..besharmi ki chachi..kaise picturein send karti hain.. Ek jhaap se deewar pe sata dena chahiye isko" She fumed.

"Chodo gauri, usko open mat karo, tabhi gallery pe save hoti hai. I dont want any other girls pictures in my gallery apart from one girl" He turned towards her side, leaned his head on his palm, rested with support of his elbow.

She looked on with an widened eyes, while his gaze was intense and smouldering.

"Toh aapki phone mein kuch aise waise picturein nahi hain" Gauri's naivety and curiousness proved a chance to her husband.

"Jaise ki?" Omkaara's naughty twinkle was back.

"Woo.. hum rudy bhaiyya ki phone pe photos dekh rahe the. bahut aise waise picturein thi. main wapas de diya"

Omkaara sighed "Playboy kahin ka.. he is like that Gauri. Par listen, ek toh main aise waise picturein nahi dektha hoon, doosra agar dekhna chahoon bhi toh tumhe hi dekhna pasand karta hoon" He was all set to pull up his sleeves and flirt with her.

"Yeh kaa keh rahein aap" Her cheeks were rosying up while she glanced carefully at the painting hanging straight

He lifted her face to face his eyes "Mere aankhon mein aankhon daalke bolo, haven't u seen me checking you out. I know you have, kyunki jab tum notice karti ho, tumhaari gaal laal hojaati hai, which i love so much"

"haan. maine bhi kahin baar dekhi hain, par mujhe samajh mein nahi aata, kyunki aap kehte aap humhe nafrat karte the, par aise dekhte hain jaise ki aap ko dekhne mein fursat hi na mili ho" Gauri's words gave in more fodder for some more naughtiness.

"That's something even I have not been able to understand. Infact mujhe apne aap pe gussa aata tha, ki main aisa kar raha hoon. Aur wo gussa main tumpar dikha tha tha" His face shrunk momentarily as his lips inched closer to her cheeks as he crawled near her.

"Gauri.. Pata nahi kyun jab bhi main tumhaara paas hota hoon, mujhe kuch hojatha hai. I don't know .. zindagi mein kabhi kisise itna gussa nahi dikhaya jitna tumse dikhayi.. Shayad mr.oberoi se bhi nahi.. I ve never felt so much possessive or selfish, until it came up to you and most importantly I have never craved for a woman, other than you" he spoke on her cheeks, hushing out in whispery seductiveness, with his eyes closed.

Gauri was feeling dizzy already. She seemed to be possessed all over, mind with his words, heart with the emotions behind it, body with his perpetual warmth. He crawled and cocooned her legs inside his, as her labored breathing increased, cheeks were on fire and her body was immobile numbed by feelings all over.

"Om...kaara...ji." All she could manage was his name, in an almost airy voice sounding something else altogether.

"Gauri..kiss me.." He asked out of unquenchable thirst, flaming in the primal need.

Before she could contemplate his ask, he took her hand and slowly trailed it all over to warm up his body. She looked at him half dazed, while feeling his body burning all over the where her hand trailed.

"I know tum mujhse naraaz ho aur hurt ho, par show me small mercies. Please" his voice yearned with all the want, while gauri felt a splash of cold water on her face.

Shit..did she succumb to her body's desires completely ignoring the destruction of her heart? Isn't this something that she should be doing with her heart, mind and body in unison? His may be in unison, but hers is all over the place.

She slowly pulled his hands out of her waist, and released her legs from his snaky hold.

"Omkaara ji.. humhe sona chahiye.. bahut der hogayi hai.." Her voice was cold and detached, leaving him in a complete mess.

Gauri expected a certain level of hurt or withdrawal least gloominess from him, since she had restrained his physical advances. But on the contrary, his attention on her remain unfazed. Infact, he ended up doing something unexpected. Gauri was sitting in her room, wading over her confused thoughts, when her Jatadhaari stormed in. He had a surprise gift for her, which surprised her more. It was an IPhone. Before Gauri could even take it without hesitation, he urged her to activate the phone with her sim, proclaiming he had a much bigger surprise. String of never ending surprises continued, when she received a video call from her mother's number. Wondering how the hell her mother's basic phone can have a video call feature, she connected the call. Gauri's mother was overwhelmed with joy to witness her daughter and damaad, striking a pose of an happy couple. But something intrigued Gauri. The house!

"Maa.. kahan se baat kar rahi hai tu.. aur tumhaari phone mein video call kaise kar rahi ho?"

"Wo gauri.. bitiya.. damaadji ne tuje kuch nahi bataya kya?'

She looked at Omkaara, suspiciously while he winked.

"Kya?"

"Wo.. damadji ne humhe ek naya ghar khareeda aur ye phone bhi bheja bitiya. Humhaari samaan, jo purani ghar mein tha, wo sab unki log lekar aaye aur mujhe dekhbaal karne ke liye ek aurat bhi aarahi hai" Her mother was moved to tears on the thoughtfulness of her son-in-law.

Gauri was shocked rather than surprised.

Did he just buy a whole new house for her mother to stay?

She couldn't confront him about this, now that her mother will notice. Understanding that she was too shocked or surprised to react, he took over the phone and completed her part of conversation as well

"Wo maaji, wahan sab comfortable hain na? Agar kisi baat ki taqleef ho, you can contact Mishra. Wo dekhlega. Aur mujhe gauri ko surprise dena tha, issliye nahi bataya. Ab abhi usko bhi pata chal rahi hai" He played a perfect son-in-law.

Gauri waited for the call to get disconnected.

"Omkaaraji.. yeh sab ki kya zaroorat thi.. aap ne nayi ghar khareeda? Yeh sab kyun kar rahe aap.. aur mujhse bataya tak nahi?" She sounded skeptical

"Gauri.. yaad hai, you got stabbed to save my mom. Agar tu meri mom ke liye itna kar sakthi ho, yeh toh bahut choti baat hai. Kya tumhaari maa meri maa nahi?" He had the final word.

Next day while Gauri was arranging things in their wardrobe, Khanna walked in with few people taking her permission. They were fixing up a new TV which left her surprised again. Are there more things coming up in her surprises galore? She wasn't sure.

"Omkaara sir ordered this TV before a week. It just got delivered. Yeh hai remote. I have done the setting for the video and all. Aap ko kuch chahiye, please call me ma'm" Khanna left after passing on instructions for operating the TV.

He never left a chance to notice a small thing about her, she thought. But why does she feel scared instead of happy?
