The IB PH's obsession with Arc's, Loops, Jelabi's and Re-boots

If I were a fly on the wall (and I am sure glad that I am, not trust me) I would imagine I would hear the IB Creative Team's emergency mantra sound something like this:

"When all creativity fails, your grey cells have turned to mush and nothing seems to make any sense Reboot!!... Reboot!! and then Reboot once more just for good measure in case you may have left something out the first time in the previous reboot..."

That sadly seems to be the mantra of the IB production House but, 'Koi Nahi..' as Annika would say,' issey bhi kaam chal jayega' if only it is done with a bit of ees-style and finesse as it progresses in it's track.

Just like the actors have to make the best of the copper plated wedding Sherwani's that would make Iron Man green with envy and feathered ensembles that would give 'Big Bird' a run for his money (no pun intended), courtesy of the costume designer that seems to 'throw those together' while on her creative high, the same way the 'Rinse and Repeat' action that is followed by her creative colleagues, high on their morning mouthwash from the level of alcohol in it, has to be met with a 'grin and bear' from the same actors caught it seems in a IB 'time wrap'.

As my husband's grandmother would say, "when there is no cure - one must endure' 😆

It would be sad if we might be seeing, come Monday's episode, 'The Return of The... nope not Jedi, we have made a slight adjustment to that here because it is ... Shivvay!! 😆😉

Why in God's name!!', do you ask, might that happen?? 😲

Well!! To quote the 'Script Writer', "Don't say why? ... Say Shivvay" because it seems that this is all you would need in order to be enlightened as to the reason behind all this madness that we are watching.

Him going back to who he was from episode one was done with the previous reboot you argue. But that is not a proper reboot argues the PH back. This one from the temple scene episode 1 : take 1, is the proper reboot.

So rinse and repeat it MIGHT be whether the audience makes any sense of it or not. If they are going to try and re-create that charm from the first track between ShivIka, I can already see them failing miserably because this is NOT the same Annika we are talking about here.

Meanwhile what happens to the rest of the cast and the other O'Brothers??!!

I am hoping that , if they do reboot, to our misery, they are going to use this re-boot to build them while they keep the ShivIka drama to the minimum. I can already see so many of you shaking your heads at this hope I have because I understand that we have all become 'hard-core- disillusioned pessimists' about stories and their progression thanks to IB.

Here is what I hope the creative team does if it does a 'Rinse and Repeat'

1. Redeems Pinky somehow: This would be the perfect opportunity for Pinky to either start ranting, with her screeching owl voice, "Manhoos!! ... Manhoos!!" pitch fork in hand ready for her long awaited witch hunt OR she could for once set aside her selfishness and her self-centered way of life and actually try hard to work with her Bahu to bring her son back to them both. I have very slim hope for the later happening with the 'Script Writer's' history of enjoying the negative Pinky and her dragging her heels with the crappy closure of her Arc.

2. Grow AniRi and RiKara in the bargain: Gauri having issues with Om should help forge her bond with Annika as a support system IF Annika does end up living away from the OM, which seems very possible right now. Gauri needs to strengthen herself and give herself some 'ME' time while finding a place to stay at where she too would find support and security.

3. Annika's Past: Which the writers seem to have forgotten. This mystery girl seems to be in on yet another Raaz. Shivvay should be renamed 'Raaz baaz' and Pinky btw, your son seems to be bad luck for Annika, not the other way around...lol

Yeh bhi shaadi aadhuri rehe gayee ...😉

Edited : I ultimately caved in and opened a twitter account to post this in my desperation for someone to sit up and take notice of what is being spewed out in the name of a story ... the side effects of IB and the hazards of watching it 😆

It would be absolutely sadistic if CVs separate them right after the wedding. I won't be able endure a memory loss track and resurface of Shivaay's NKK ideology again 😭. Someone please tell me my intuition this time is wrong.

Pearl, I just watched the episode and still in a daze. The shaadi got over so soon..wow..that was unexpected. Last minute rush with the god awful clothes... OMM.. the copper color hurt my eye.. the blue... was so lame...and ordinary... and that dreadful necklace... koi nahi.. Still SC looked breathtaking.. the wonderful smile that made her shine despite the awful clothes.

May I just start with I love you n yes I agree with everything you said/ saying.

When they said Grand Shivay Anika wedding I imagined something very different from what they have given today . Did not think much about Grand but yes I wanted a beautiful Shivika centric wedding and yes I felt Shivika n as well as we all deserved it for putting up with the nonsensical filth( pardon my language) they termed as arcs .

'Style' n 'Finesse' : Hell these two terms were redefined too ...or they modified them to suit their needs . The story nor the clothing has these . If I could take a scissors to both the script n the clothes I think even I could do a better Job . If it were not for the graceful ways the actors carried the monstrosities called designs n the dignified n professional way they carried the no sense story line this show would have tanked long ago . For me it's just the actors that keep me reigned in now .

The famous / infamous Shaadi : what was it we saw today ?? The intense heartfelt hatred from the first wedding ( which ironically got me hooked on to this show)was far better than this lack luster in feelings . What the heck were the flash backs about that Shivika were having ???? N phere the Vachan phase what was it Shivay distracted by a piece of paper( seriously who cares about scrap while doing phere?) and then irrelevant FB's of Om n Rudy ... seriously that could not be put off for few minutes looking st the way the things were shaping up they were on to the next phase already . Not counting in no varmala n rushed sindhoor etc etc ... blink of the eye all done n they are hugging 😕

Then comes the Precap : No rest for the wicked cones to mind ...but who is the wicked here ??? Can't they start on to the many arcs n loops they haven't yet closed instead of introducing this Shivay missing crap ?? It's going to be awesome they promise keep watching For next two weeks ... what the heck do we watch ?? There is no Shivika broken apart again , there is no other pair hell there is no Tej n Svet pairing to watch even .

Currently not in any way or form are we tuned in to watch redeemed not redeemed Pinky 🤢 ... the Ishqbaaz Daadi after her turn Pinky white Mukti Morcha ...Shakti has nothing to offer n cannot even think of watching Tej n Janvis love saga . Prinku lost in the never coming back land.

Would love to see the return of Tadibaaz shark n smart Singh Oberoi but not the expense of Shivika n our mental sanity . I can use a few choice words here for the crap they are sending our way but let's just say am trying to be politically polite here 😡 the way I feel in realty is ... you are there too so you know .


Coming to other pairs as I do not watch all I can say is they are more messed up than ever thanks to The writers n who ever . Now They have this weird idea of mess up Shivika in your words Rinse Reboot Repeat to bring in all the stories on to the same footing .

So we have this royal holy crap to endure just bcos they do not know where n how to go . I just wish they were out of India you know just bcos I can sue the ... out of them for this emotional n mental athyachar

Sorry too much of a rant ... the best I can do to cope else I will be doing something unmentionable as is planning to get a dart board with Gulneet in it .
