We are shattered with the news of Swabhimaan's closure as the show was doing well - Ankita Sharma

Colors' popular show Ek Shringaar Swabhimaan produced by the renowned production house, Rajshri Productions will end this Friday (29 September). The decision has been one of the most shocking and unexpected ones. The decision has been taken by the channel last night owing to low TRPs. But the fact remains that the show will be coming to a closure with immediate effect, wrapping up this week.

Actress Ankita Sharma cannot believe the news and says that she even cried when she heard of it this morning. "I really don't know what to say. We got to know this morning and this Friday is the last telecast. It is very strange. We only have two days to wrap up. The channel told the production last night and we were informed this morning. We are all shattered as the show is doing well. The fans will be in shock as this show has been very popular. It is very unbelievable too. The worst part is that we have not even been given time to up our ratings or even reach to a logical conclusion. We are the same show that gave the channel a 2.4 and 2.5 also. Manish Raisinghan just entered the show in yesterday's episode. It is so saddening. This will be a shock for the fans.

We also hear that Sooraj Barjatya had a well-written script ready for the next one month.

Ek Shringaar Swabhimaan aired at the 9.30 PM slot and has been entertaining fans with its interesting story line..

The last two weeks trp for this show is 1.2.

Swabhimaan met the same fate as swaragini. But colors is really pathetic. They did not give sufficient time to end the show.

Well if low trps are the reason for such abrupt ending of the show, I still wonder what SDCH is still doing on air

Wow, rangeela doesn't mind extending illogical shows like SSK and kasam. But they want to end a somewhat reasonably good show like swabhiman. I think that show was doing well too. I won't be surprised if SDCH meets with the same fate. 0.8 is way too less.

Is 1.2 low TRP? Who took the decision channel or production house??? If channel then are they blind to not see SDCH? I had thought Star plus is the only channel that wraps show up abruptly for trp but colors too is following it!!! Guys let's wait for few days; the news of SDCH going off air will also come. I am thinking Devanshi lasted too long despite very low trps.

For prime time shows trp should be atleast 1.5. Yeah rishta kya kehlata hai and kundali bhaya are rival shows for this show. Both the shows have trp more than 2.

Rangeela is just biased towards certain PHs , I think tht is wht clearly comes to the front now.

How can they extent a show like SSK with the most illogical and bizarre plots and take off a good show like swabhimaan ??? That is just beyond me !!!

And also keeping shows like SDCH who is becoming pathetic day by day with much lower trps or a show like Bakool on air...

And why are they keeping the spot open ???? For eventual Maha Sangams ???? Good heaven!! How many times in a month are there Maha Sangams ????

At least SP takes shows off air for better perspectives not for lousy reasons like Rangeela

Everyday should be a mahasangam. What situations will CVS create to have mahasangams? This is ridiculous. And bhag bakul bhaag is also ending.

Rangeela ne kabhi devanshi, sdch ka trp dekha hain. Devanshi ko toh kabhi bich mein band nahi kiya. f**k COLORSTV 😡
