Just curious. Would Jab We Met have been as successful, and Geet as iconic if someone else had played her?

Was the character itself that strong, that it would have been remembered no matter who portrayed her, or was it Kareena that made her so loved in everyone's hearts and minds?

How crucial was Kareena to the movie? And if you think someone else could have been Geet, please say who and why!

Geet was Kareena, Kareena is Geet. It was the role Kareena was born to do.

Successful? Probably. Geet was a good role. I can see Rani in it too. But Kareena made it fun, she was perfect. So I don't care to see anyone else portray that character.

I honestly can't imagine anyone except Kareena perfecting that "self love" aspect of Geet.

Successful or not,I don't know but I don't think any other actress could play Geet better than her..

Both her n Shahid just played their roles perfectly. Besides JWM is the only IA film that had a proper story n watchable (highway as well) which I can't really say about his rest of the work.. ( haven't watch JHMS).

I am not a Kareena fan but this even I have to admit that Geet was a role tailor-made for Kareena. No one could have done it better. She has given a lot of bokwaas performances but her Geet was flawless. This is probably yhe only role that Kareena will always be remembered for.

Nope.

Kareena was born to play that role. Preity is not a good enough actress and Rani always comes off too mature. This needed that obstinate little girl personality that only Kareena can pull off without being a turn off.
