Yup, HG trailer and teaser were also not appreciated much, and despite that and the bad reviews people went to watch it and it made money. For Raabta that dint happen it means people dint identify with the material nor the actors.

Do u think really think Sushant have lot of contribution for that movie's success? I don't think so because Dhoni mostly got success because of the cricket player Dhoni since it was about his biopic, it would've got the equal amount of success if it had any other actors on it.

this 'can' is very subjective my friend..so lets not state it as some gospel truth

sushant is strictly a decent actor who mostly mumbles (SDR) and he for sure has a tendency to go extremely OTT. Raabta was a torture primarily coz of his OTT acting to a whole new level. I won't call this a good actor for sure..

arrogance is there but the way him being an actor is being talked about is as if we are talking about a kangana raunat here..sushant is decent at best (imo) and with loads of arrogance added..this failure seems a good option to land him back to earth

arjun in HG >>>>>> Susu with his cringe worthy expressions and OTTness in Raabta (IMO..not a fact)

Dhoni hype was primarily because of cricketer MSD there is no denying in this But you have to look the part to convince people that you are actually watching Dhoni on-screen, you have to Act and Act well which Sushant did brilliantly, it's also about the Actor playing a particular part otherwise imagine likes of Tiger, Sid or Arjun playing Dhoni- One Will start moonwalk on a cricket pitch other Will give expression as wodden as cricket bat and last one would look like a wrestler instead of cricketer, so Sushant deserve credit here and just not to be by-passed. Yes Raabta was a bad film and his performance is not upto the mark and that is exactly why is being criticized because he recognized as competent actor. He is getting plenty of films by good filmmakers - Raabta excluded and I am sure they must be knowing a whole lot better whether who can 'Act' and who cannot.
