Why I love Naamkarann!

So... after watching today's episode it reinstated why I am so in love with this show and why I chose to watch it:

1) We get SO many OLVs and spoilers, yet the producers/writers are able to make twists which still shock us. It's SO unpredictable that whilst we were thinking of what Avni/Riya will do about the marriage, we totally forgot about Neil.

2) The pacing. I am SO glad this is not a show that takes one week to focus on one plot-point. Other shows would have taken a good 3 episodes to show everything they showed in one episode.

3) The technical aspects: I absolutely adore the technical team! From the costume department, down to the set design. So beautiful and so so unique. Naamkarann is aesthetically pleasing.

4) THE PERFORMANCES: Today's episode really made me happy! The small scene between Shweta Ji and Nanno. The scene between Neil and Neela which was a CLEAR winner. Even the scene between Avni and Riya was so beautifully played.

No matter how irritated I get at Naamkarann sometimes not making sense, and small loopholes in characters (especially Neil's) today reminded me why I think Naamkarann is the best show on Indian Television.

It defo is an underrated show. Post-leap the show is definitely more entertaining and interesting, because for me, it was too distressing to watch the show pre-leap due to the amount of negativity and torture surrounding a little girl. I'm just sensitive that way.

I agree Sammy I watched this show with my mom by later when the torture on poor girl n den on Neela jus made me so low that it badly affected my health.post leap the show is interesting.This is the best show on Indian television at present.Better than other meaning less show . Seriously it's the most underrated show n we could see it yesterday in SPA awards.less screenspace not included in the promo video etc etc.if I start that then I ll write more pages than what Rachel wrote.coming to characters I want to congratulate the casting director of this show.Their casting is really amazing n we can see the new dayawanti .The void of Reema jee can never be filled bt Ragini shah is totally in the skin of character.both zain n Aditi speaks a lot through their eyes.Today Nalini too impressed me.Nanno n Shweta are good too but today's episode hero was our very own hero Neil.Neil has surprised me a lot.I don't know his work in Tashan e ishq bt playing character of Neil involves lot of shades n he s playing brilliantly.He s doing great great work.What a episode guy .Neil n Neela stole the show today.

Considering the way zain's character of yuvi was in tashan e ishq, zain was definitely the best actor to play a character like neil that although is positive, has different shades. Yuvi was a egotistic and manipulative rich brat in the beginning who was shown as a possessive and over-controlling lover, who over time became a creepy obsessed lover, and then turned into a complete and utter heartless pyscho. Then finally he became positive, but then became a little grey with his cunning and selfish side coming out again, but his character realised his folly at the end and became positive for once and for all. Yuvi was the only villian i have found myself to be obsessed with, and zain nailed yuvi's character, so he was really fit for the role of neil I think.

Zain has been an amazing actor from the start! He was terrific in Tashan E Ishq. He played negative so well!

Honestly at present Tashan e ishq is in my bucket list.i want to see the show actually .I ll start soon bt can't now since I m loaded with work . Anyway coming to this show Neil is actually brilliant

I've seen him in Kaisi Yeh Yaarian and Tashan-E-ishq. He's an amazing actor.
He has a chocolate boy look but at the same time, there's an underlying bad boy attitude, which allows him to play a spectrum of characters.
Yea, I loved today's episode. Although I wish they did extend some of the wedding rasam scenes to see the growing friendship of Avneil as well, and it not being only when Avni and Neil need something from each other.
But Naamkaran is the best show. I do love mostly everything about it.
All i wish is we had more Aladdin/Kabir scenes post-leap too

U guys have actually convinced me seriously to watch the show.i will definitely becoz I see lot of recommendation n also die hard zain s fan who are watching this show becoz of him

Well written all haven't seen any shows if Zain much but kyy many ifriends talked abt him
I can never watch show for actors fr me chemistry of leads matters and pace of story most impt and here avneil chemistry I loved it instantly and watching naamkaran
