Do you really think Alia has Box Office pull?

i mean no doubt varun is a big star but can we credit entire 110cr collections to him? i mean lets also acknowledge the fact that it had their chemistry and pairing as one of the strongest highlights of the movie..

and if just numbers are to be thrown around..alia's 2 states opened at 12cr back in 2014 and we all know of arjun's BO pull..

what i only intend to say is that neither of these newer lot really have actual pull..but with good trailer..pairing songs etc..they work it well..to say alia alone brought 110 cr for badri is wrong..but to say varun alone brought that is also wrong..it had a well received trailer..songs..and above all THEIR chemistry which makes them both take the cake..not just one

No I am not saying that .. Alia did add some value , specially after coming from 3 successes , But If No Varun Dhawan , do you think the film would have made even 50 crore?
