The one thing I like the most about Kohlis is they're very much human who err but they've set their own limits and they're simply unapologetic for whatever they do until those limits are crossed. They always have an ear to listen out when needed without much questions or conditions. Suggestions are given only when asked for as they trust each other enough to believe that they can handle their own lives. While giving proper space to each other as a friend would they still worry for each other's peace, safety and mental health as a family which stays together would.

Let me start with Nikhil as he isn't a Kohli yet but still shares common traits with Kohlis. When he suddenly met a friend at the hotel who's probably in with taking advantage of a drunk girl which seemed to oppose Nikhil's moral values but he just had a hearing ear without responding to it. I liked his cool attitude where he can't go on about imparting his values to a friend.

Abha di seems to have taken over the mom's position, she always has a tab on whatever Rhea does and this is by Rhea's will, keeps awake late in the night until she's sure that her lil sister is safely back home, tries to reprimand when her sisters are in the wrong, supports staunchly when required.

Rhea, she's carefree and with an attitude, unquestionable and also the one who is the most unapologetic even when errs the most. Her single message to her family could've stopped them from worrying for her safety. The 1st thing she does on waking up is blowing up her sister who kept roaming around the city for her. I agree with you that you need privacy but it can't come with lies. Lies when exposed leave a dark shade of not being trust-worthy.

Finally, we get to hear Myra's thoughts on that Mumbai night, she's prejudiced and even gives out her verdicts without much thought. Unabashedly, she barges into Kabir's room searching everywhere including his washroom, wardrobe and also under the bed for Rhea. Kabir jokingly joins in with her search in his own room but stops Myra (who was about to leave on getting a call from Rhea informing that she's back home) asking the reason for her illogical and appalling behaviour towards him. I love the way he called her out for answers without being either angry or rude, he just needed answers for every thought of Myra on him while he's clear that he wouldn't let her leave without answering. His questions were - What gives her the right to barge into his room even if Rhea is with him!! What's the problem that you faced with me that you din't speak with me properly even for a single time!! Myra speaks out her thoughts on him that he's a casanova who sleeps over with any and every girl he comes across in his life, he takes it as her naming him as a rapist but she clarifies him that if he is then she would have reported him to the police. He concludes it as she thinks that they slept together that night at Mumbai and she accepts it further saying that she's not asking him to be responsible or even justify it as she thinks she's equally at fault. Myra leaves while Kabir is left wondering that she's as interesting as a box of chocolates (wrapped chocolates which make us wonder what flavour it is). Kabir seems to understand the reason behind Myra leaving without bidding adieu to him a year ago and also the reason of her hatred for him while she also blames herself. Myra is left to taking twists on her bed at night on why did she share the guilt with Kabir when she could've blamed Kabir for everything.

I'm left puzzled after watching the episode on whether they really slept together that night at Mumabi!! Kabir left it unanswered for now and Myra is left with her own conclusion that it was a one-night stand.

Girls, leave out your opinions on both my writing and this episode

Hi,

I loved your write up. Was looking out for it since last evening as I have finally caught up. 😆

True to all that you said about human characters. I love this discovery stage where we accept them for who they are, right or wrong.
Myra is what she is. Love her as she is. She has been her own teacher. She doesn't share her problems. Nikhil was the sane voice there when he said she has to bring Abha di into the picture as it was a question of Ria's safety.

Kabir asking for answers sanely was serious 'serial goals'.

Will keep coming back for your analysis. Awesome.

Lovely post! I am really in love with this show because its so real & refreshing & partly because of how much I relate to it on a personal level. I'm part Myra, part Rhea, & part Abha😆

Myra's quite a control freak...she has this need to control everyone & she wants everyone to tell her their problems but doesn't share her own. And I can finally understand Rhea's frustration.. as much as she craves love & attention, she likes her independence & just having her on space too.. she's a bunch of contradictions. he errs but immediately owns up to it, like she clarified previously about placing Myra's acceptance letter for Mummy Kohli to see or even yesterday when she told Myra the truth about where & with whom she went.

Nope, they didn't sleep together & that was confirmed by Kabir's does-she-really-think-we-slept-together question. Initially I wondered why Kabir didn't tell Myra the truth.. the only rational reason I can think of is that it doesn't matter? Myra didn't really give him a chance to explain & asserted that its equally her fault & she can't be bothered with his explanations so what's the point. Also Kabir still seems interested in Myra & wants to test the waters.. just like 1 year back when he spoke of his interest in Myra as serendipity & now a box of chocolates.

Nikhil & Abha are very wise & similar.. they have strong opinions & are very reflective people. They know clearly what they want & what they like/dislike but yet let other people be who they are & don't try to change them. I can understand why Rhea confides most in Abha & fell in love with Nikhil. They are likeable people who can be interesting too.
