Just because they've intense hatred for someone doesn't mean they murder them...though Arjun hated him but he won't because he does in open and he did think of the serious consequence no matter how impulsive he is. Now Maya she can and almost all believe she did because she did want Ashwin out of her life and she had something to fight for...so possibility which I think the CV's would use as she is the 'psycho' of the show. Also, Jhanvi is showing signs of mental illness, the same signs Maya had been showing in the beginning with all those sneaky insane smiles and odd behavior... which makes me really wonder if behind all those helpless Jhanvi was this insanity and Maya had all her life been protecting this and we all thought her to be insane or Jhanvi has turned Lady Macbeth and she couldn't get over the fact of threatening Ashwin , so his death affected her so much.
