Why am I not surprised though? This has happened every time! What an irony and tragedy that the week after Manya was eliminated, someone of the stature of Shravan goes!

Totally reflects the shallowness of the media and also of the junta. No value for merit, everything else is more important. Disgusted and so so salty right now! 😡

5. Can't speak Hindi

6. Is from Chennai, a place where hardly anyone watches Hindi shows

Things that Shravan has going FOR him: 👍🏼

1. Has perfect grasp of Sur

2. Is a trained Carnatic Classical vocalist

3. Despite being unfamiliar with the language, practices hard on his diction.

4. Delivers flawless (or nearly) flawless performances every time, quietly with dignity.

5. Tries different genres, even though they're out of his comfort zone

6. Judges praise him every time; no one can deny his absolute mastery over his craft

Result:

Gets eliminated a week after a singer like Manya and before some others currently in the running who deserve to go much before him were the criteria ONLY musical ability in this so-called MUSICAL REALITY SHOW! 😡 WOW! 👏

Absolutely! Still, I would say he is better looking than few others in the lots. I would blame the channel for his elimination. It did not give him enough screen space as it does to others. Even the judges' comments were edited short, perhaps the channel thought the praises from judges might influence the audience and might increase the support. Channel decided to bring back manya, it did. Now it has decided to send Shravan home and that happened too.
