Even I would like to chip in this. Sona's approach was wrong. One can't expect an industrialist to press his clothes or take care of his wardrobe. It's not his job nor he has time for it. I have seen this thrown time and again that Dev couldn't do even this much for Sona in spite of having made tall promises.
Yaar I am working and I am sorry I don't press my clothes. From where will I get the time for it? I have to prioritise my time and the few hours I have, I should give to my family and rest or press clothes?
Bijoy instead of telling her that idea was foolish promoted her. He had been a middle level employee with limited working hours and low mental stress. How could he compare it to Dev's working hours and stress? Further Bijoy had limited money. What's the point of earning millions if one can't hire help to enjoy life?
The practical solution would have been Sonakshi asking for a new wardrobe and telling Dev decently that she doesn't like anyone touching her almirah. One has to take it slow. You can't prevent a mother from touching her son's things within four months of marriage. Best would have been to do these jobs herself or ask the servant to do it.
Regarding jhoola, if her husband was getting hurt everyday and was not able to adjust himself to the presence of such a huge addition in his room, Sona could have herself removed it. There was no one stopping her from changing the balance decor.
Sona's real problem was that she wasn't getting any personal space. That she should have told firmly to Dev. But I guess her not being able to communicate her real problems stemmed from Dev's inability to stand against his family.
