"Khushi, put the garland in his neck." Her mother shook Khushi who was standing like a statue. She looked at her groom and closed her eyes when a tear fall down from her eyes. "Khushi?"

She opened her eyes and put the garland in his neck, he looked away. They took sit on their respective place and perform the wedding rituals, finally he put vermillion on her forehead, "You both are married now." They took blessings from elders.

Khushi walked to her mother and lowered her tearful eyes when a tear made its way from her eyes, her mother quickly wiped them before anyone saw, "Khushi you remember what Mrs Raizada said to you?"

"Maa.. It's wrong. He should know my truth, I can't lie to him."

"If you want this marriage work then you have to do this. You have no option. Understand?" Khushi cried and helplessly nodded.
