Nostalgia is okay... why not having good memories... however, every time has its Cinema... the technical advancements always had an impact on the visuals (which are the main ingredient of movies)... Indian movies discovered a whole new depiction of violence through the digital work while Hollywood churned out one Marvel-movie after another.

As for the "heart"... I prefer the term "emotions" (because "heart" has a more positive meaning than emotions could have).

Yeah, the 'chak dum dum' song still belongs to the kids' favorite Hindi songs smiley27

What really defined 90s was hum apke hain kaun , it revolutionized the indian cinema , brought back audience to the theaters and changed the theme ..actually before that it was Maine pyar kiya too which made ppl believe that romantic movies can also work ..

After mpk, it was movies like khuda gawah , khalnayak , baazigar etc , mostly action , less of entertainment , very few of them ..like dil beta jo jeeta wohi sikandar..post hahk and ddlj was the khan era totally , one hit after the other ..family entertainers plus comedy ..worked the best for me..

Now what made these movies iconic was the effort & creativity put in these films be it music or the solid scripts ...

This is exactly what's missing in today's films , most of them work on a set template where ppl look in a certain way , act in a certain way , woh movie mei aisa tha toh meri.movie mei bhi same hai ..the realism is totally.gone ..

We can debate endlessly but the aura of the three khans couldn't be recreated any any of the actors till date ..even they themselves couldn't repeat it ..
