So we finally get a happy ending, but is anyone else disappointed that it's because of Ishwari that Dev gets to be with Sona, rather than him going on his own accord?

Even today he was more concerned Sona's engagement broke off, rather than thinking that maybe it's a chance for him to fix things.

It irks me that he dumped Sona, treated her so unfairly, and only goes back to her because his mother is giving permission, as if he's still a child. What if again another day Ishwari has a problem with Sona, will Dev again dump Sona for his mum? And it also begs the question that would he have fought to get Sona back in his life if his mum didn't give permission?

I really wanted them to show Dev going back to Sona on his own accord, and slowly trying to convince Ishwari. How is a girl meant to trust you that you'll stand by her and won't let her down again when you didn't even fight for her, and only do as your mum says? I get a mother son love, but surely that doesn't mean you treat all other loves as interior?

Hopefully they somehow redeem Dev.

I can totally get your frustration and disappointment because I'm feeling the same. The entire purpose of the break up track has been defeated. Not at all invested in watching Devakshi marriage , when they didn't bother showing Dev fight for his own love going against his mother's wish . It gives me a feeling he'll dump Sona at the drop of a hat once again after marriage if Ishwari once again finds some problem with Sonakshi and gets depressed and pops pills.

Because really what else are we supposed to think about him ?? Lover wo hota hai jo apne beloved ke liye zameen asmaan ek kar dete hain par yaha Dev hai ki ek ungli tak hila ne ko tyar nehi apne maata ke khilaf. 🤓

Ishwari's insecurity issue should've been dealt and done with completely before marriage and not left gaping like a wound infected below the surface only to burst open with purulent foul discharge post-marriage by some provocation or new issue.

All in all , throughly let down by the CVs. Good . Taught me a lesson that never believe ,em when they say we're going to give you some thing new special and unique.

A weak Male lead , who's more of a momma's boy at the age of 28, than most 8 yr old kids of today's generation and a girl who can shake off any care and concern for her very loving and supporting parents and thoroughly let them down and erase her own self respect all in the name of all-consuming love , which has consumed her entire self except her stupid weakening emotions.

So if this is their "new" n "unique" then God save us from their new and unique and feel good and whatever...

Completely agree - based solely on the recap, it does seem that Ishwari said ok, so he'll go to Sona.

I was hoping for a little bit of introspection - him realizing that he screwed up once again, and needs o fix it now. Because HE wants to , not because mommy allowed him to. Also - it was kind of convenient that he doesn't remember telling his mom what he really felt...it just sets up the basis for more miscommunication later. But I guess the CVs need that as an option to move the story forward 😆

I also was hoping for Ishwari taking some time to think about how SHE screwed up - and not jump in to fix things herself. Her going to Sona's family to fix things...hmm, too much to hope that Sona will say no, unfortunately.

Somehow, for me - this again becomes about mom and son...and the girl just being a second thought. I had thought the story would progress to how maybe Sona will become more than a second fiddle...but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Yes I am not very happy with the track for couple of reasons

1.Ishwari and Ritvik took control of the situation instead of Dev and Sonakshi.

2. Here we have Dev who didn't pursue Sona to get her back in his life but Sona always did the same right ...It was Ritvik who cancelled the engagement not Sona .After knowing what Dev is to her still she was ready to marry someone for whatever reasons .Not saying she needs to go back to him ..she was ready to give up on their relationship if Ritvik hadn't intervened.

My expectations was Dev will make the first move instead of Ishwari and Sonakshi will cancel the engagement instead of Ritwick.

We will definitely get a redemption track for Dev as we will see him begging her to come back to him but there will be no redemption track for Sona .That's what disapoints me will we get to see Sona realising her mistake of marrying Ritvik and also realising that just like Dev she has taken wrong decisions .We have seen her asking for mutual breakup but not once did she suggest Dev to work together as a team to convince Ishwari.

I see no difference between Dev and Sona .I feel both were ready to give up on their relationship and had zero interest in making their relationship work.

I mean according to spoilers they have shown how dev is again going to sona for proposal but after her mother's permission only.

When are they going to show him taking actions , All he is saying sorry sorry ,feeling guilty But Still no action for his wrong deeds😕

Right now he's not even worthy as a boyfriend , leave alone for that marriage thing.

Why do i have a feeling that CV's will make dev and ishwari's character growth after marriage only?

i hope not because that will mean Sona has compromised with her self respect .

At least CV's should give us solid reason about why sona should be with dev.

The break up track was not handled as expected at all.I am really hoping that Sonakshi and her family do not agree for marriage when Ishwari comes and begs(as per segments).Ishwari's health or emotional words should not easily sway or effect the decision Sonakshi and her family takes.

The most important thing will be for Dev to introspect and realise where he went wrong. Otherwise if Ishwari is upset with Sona after marriage or even on the day of marriage, he will still blindly follow her direction. In today's episode he realises he acted wrongly at her engagement but he still remians clueless as to how he wronged sonakshi during this whole break up.He needs to make her a priority and not an option which he will select if his mother allows him to.He needs to earn both her and her family's trust back.

He should address Ishwari's insecurity as well. It may not disappear before marriage but should be at least dealt with instead of forgetting that it exists.He should realize that the world does not revolve around him and his mom,he cannot get back Sonakshi just because his mom gave him permisssion.It does not work like that.

Oh I am so glad someone else also feels that way 😆 I was feeling cynical and jaded when I saw that most of the younger lot on the forum seem to love Dev enough to think he can get away with whatever he was doing 😆😆

Jokes apart - though I understand the characterization of Dev as impulsive and emotional...I am finding it more and more difficult to understand why he works with Sona. I get that he is dreamy looking, and was loving and romantic...but the last few weeks, meh. IfI were Sona, I would think longs and hard about how her life is going to be with a mamma's boy who can't even breathe , let alone live, without mom's permission.

That said - hopefully, just hopefully, CVs plan to show Dev growing a spine...enough atleast to deserve a girl in his life.

I don't know if this was done deliberately by CV's or not they somehow made like sona should always fix dev,

Typical FL who has a responsibility to fix ML issues(in this show mommy issues's also included) . It doesn't work that way.

Right now they have made Dev sona's weakness , but when he's going to become her strength.Healthy relationship should be balanced one like whenever One's feel defeated . other will pick up battles , here toh they have made ML all about ME,Myself and MY issues.

What this show need right now is process of Character's growth , It seems like they are stuck in a loop😕

Have Patience dear... We are always wrong on predicating our Show.. First the track Come..then we will discuss about it..not Now..till then enjoy the current Track... :)
