TOI:Arjun Bijlani to play lead role in Ekta Kapoor's next show ?

Television's beloved actor, Arjun Bijlani, who is known for his role Ritvik in 'Naagin', is all set for another daily soap. Producer Ekta Kapoor is coming out with a new show 'Pardes Mein Hai Meraa Dil'. The show is inspired by the movie Pardes.

Earlier, Shaleen Malhotra was short-listed for the main lead. According to an entertainment portal, due to some creative issues, the makers have replaced Shaleen Malhotra with Arjun. Dharshti Dhami and Laksh Laklwani are roped in to play the lead roles in the show.

Shaleen had even done the mock shoot with Drashti Dhami. Shaleen Malhotra has been on a break for a long time now. The actor made his small screen debut with the show Arjun. Later, he was seen in Code Red Talaash.

The fans are eagerly waiting to see Drashti and Arjun together onscreen.

why don't ekta kapoor shuts down this project only and bring Drashti dhami in naagin season 2 as shivangi the daughter of Ritik and Shivanya . why we can't have 5 superstars of Tv in one show like in Naagin season 2 like ( Arjun , Mouni , Adaa , Drashti , and Sudha Ma'am ) these 5 actors can break record of season 1 also when in kabhi khushi kabhi gham movie can have 6 superstars like

( Big b , Srk , Hrithik roshan, Kajol , kareena kapoor , jaya bachchan ) then why can't ekta kapoor take these 5 superstars of Tv in show ever .
