Ever since his childhood, Shivaay had always been a person, who could not control his emotions. When he was angry, nobody could stop him. Though he also had a caring side, which only his family and friends got to see. Most people analysed Shivaay as an arrogant snob. However that was not true because even though he cared about his family name and lineage he did have a heart.

Trust. He didn't trust poor people. Not after all the things his mother and father told him. However once someone gained his trust they got to see the caring Shivaay Singh Oberoi, even if they were poor. A person, who had gained his trust at the tender age of four was Anika. The only other person beside Anika and his brothers ,who gained his trust, was Siddhart Vikram Rana. All three of them had been BFF's for all their life.

Shivaay was really grateful for all he had. He had a wonderful life, friends and love...Despite his constant denial he knew that he had fallen for Anika. The only question was did she feel the same about him?

After mustering up enough courage, Shivaay finally got ready to propose to Anika. When he got the biggest shock of his life.

Siddhart was already down on one knee with a diamond ring in front of Anika and she nodded a yes.

Several questions were in Shivaay's mind. How could Siddhart, yes Siddhart my best friend keep such a big secret from me? How did I not see this, it's obvious that they have always liked each other? Why? Why?

Tears were threatening to fall; when Anika and Siddhart turned around with a huge smile etched on their faces. It was at that moment Shivaay realised that he could not be so selfish and snatch both of his best friend's happiness. After taking a deep breath Shivaay put a smile upon his face, he tried as hard as he could to make it genuine. Honestly he wanted to be happy for his friends, even if it meant never being able to tell Anika how he felt.
