"I don't want to talk about Aamir Khan" – Amol Gupte

Aamir Khan's debut film as a director and home production Taare Zameen Par is all set to release in December and one man who has been the backbone of the film, in fact more than Aamir Khan (which apparently even Aamir agrees to) throughout is the creative director of the film – Amol Gupte.

This painter cum script-writer cum social worker, along with the help of his wife Deepa Bhatia has penned down the script of Taare Zameen Par . The talented man had even begun to direct the film but few creative differences with Aamir led to his exit as a director of the film. We spoke to the man himself and he ended up revealing much more to us than his alleged rift with Aamir Khan.

"I don't imagine myself as just the creative director of Taare Zameen Par . I have chosen to keep quiet for reasons I wouldn't like to disclose right now. This project is so dear to me since I have been working with dyslexic kids for the past seven years! In fact I am making a film on dyslexic kids and will make the announcement in December. December not because Taare Zameen Par is releasing in the same month but because I will be able to give a better picture to you about it later", says Amol.

So will he work with Aamir Khan again? "I don't want to talk about Aamir Khan", says Amol in discomfort.

hmm.. looks like the director in aamir offended amol in some way or another. hope they patch up soon though, i hate to read about rifts like these.
