CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED SEVEN
'Abhimanyu will explain...''Bala said putting his hands up as he laughed
'What the hell are you two up too now...'' Said Ishita smiling a bit amused
'If I tell you, then it will not be much of a surprise will it...'' Said Bala winking as he sat on the bed grabbing Aditya's shoes and helping him
Ishita turned and she could see Raman was standing in her room holding Ruhi and she couldn't have been more surprised
'What are you doing here'' She asked
'My weekend with the kids so I came to pick them up...'' Said Raman rudely
'Oh I know but what are you doing in my room'' Said Ishita
'Mom, I asked him to come help take my bag'' Said Ruhi getting down
'Right... But Bala would have done that...'' Said Ishita much to Raman's annoyance
'I can carry my daughter's bag thank you...'' He said again rudely
'What is up with you...'' Said Ishita but Raman just kept quiet
She looked at him her eyes begging him to look at her but he just looked away staring at Aditya who was fumbling with his laces
'How have you been...'' she asked as tears filled her eyes
'Fine...'' He said rudely
'Are you...'' Ishita began again but Raman wouldn't allow her
'Can we get this over and done with...'' He said completely disregarding her
Bala could see Ishita was beginning to fall apart and the kids were beginning to notice. Ruhi looked at her mother whose tears were beginning to well up in her eyes and she become scared
'Ishu... Come on...'' Said Bala holding Ishita's hand as he pulled her in giving her a chance to compose herself as he whispered
'I think Probi finally made his move...'' and Ishita shocked with an o-shaped expression on her mouth arched back looking at Bala before she laughed saying
'No way...'' while playfully hitting Bala on the shoulder
'I swear... I can never lie to you, you know that...'' Said Bala smiling
'Bala I swear to God don't play like that...'' Said Ishita wiping the tears that were welling up with the back of her hand
'I really am not...'' Said Bala and Ishita out of excitement said
'Finally... It is about time...''
'Yeah... And you two, it is about time you found something to smile about'' Said Bala as he chuckled
Raman who was interpreting this conversation differently was dying with jealousy. He watched Bala do everything he was supposed to have been doing with her. He watched her demeanor change in a split second from nervous and uncomfortable around him to completely free and open with Bala in just a split second. It hurt to know he couldn't do that no matter how hard he tried and the anger he had been keeping inside just kept on brewing and brewing
'If you two are done can we go, it is getting late'' He said rudely
Bala looked at him for a moment before he turned to Aditya helping with his shoes then getting up from the bed grabbing Aditya's bag
'Hey Ishu are we still on for later today'' He asked
'Yeah definitely'' She said
'Alright...'' Said Bala before turning to Aditya and said
'Come on Adi... Let's go...'' And Aditya followed him
Ishita grabbed Ruhi's shoes helping her with them before she grabbed her bag giving it to Raman
'Do you always dress like this when you have men around the house or is it only when Bala is around...'' Said Raman angrily
'Excuse me...'' Said Ishita
'You heard me...''Said Raman
'This is my house, I can wear whatever I want anywhere...'' Said Ishita taken aback by his comment
'I should expect that from someone like you anyway...'' Said Raman
'If you are accusing me of something just come out right and say it...'' Said Ishita hurt
'You're not worth it...''Said Raman before he turned taking his daughter's hand in his and he walked out
She watched Raman walk out dumbfounded at how far their relationship had gone. He looked at her with so much disgust and her thinking he was still mad at her for the divorce. With a solemn chuckle she slumped down to the bed her heart breaking as she remembered the look on his face.
She hadn't cried since this whole thing began. She would tear up, chock up and every time she felt like the pain was chocking her and she was about to cry, she fought them back and pushed the thought at the back of her mind thinking she needed to be strong for her kids. That is why she avoided the divorce proceedings, she knew it would be too hard but when Raman walked into her room, standing there and staring at her with so much disgust, everything in her broke and she couldn't push it back anymore.
It seemed as if all her heartbreak and misery was staring her right in the face and there was nothing she could do. She felt a ball of anguish well up in her throat and she knew she couldn't keep it in any longer
She crumbled forward her hand catching her face as a shaky sob shock all through her body. Weep after weep she cried having a meltdown that was long overdue. She grabbed the pillow putting it on her face as she screamed almost as if the pain would disappear if she screamed long enough.
Raman who was walking down the tunnel felt a part of him dying when he saw the tears in her eyes but his ego wouldn't allow him go back because he was just as hurt and humiliated. When Ishita began to cry he could have sworn he heard her scream but when he turned to walk back and check, Mr. Iyer was at the bottom of the stairs and he wouldn't allow him go back
'I think you need to leave, weather is not that good...'' Said Mr. Iyer and Raman walked ahead leaving Ishita
'Alright then... Shall we...'' Said Bala
'Uhhh not exactly... ' Said Raman turning to Bala as he said
'I can drive my kids I do not need you to do that...'' Said Raman
'Okay... Except small problem, that outside is my car not yours and I would feel comfortable if I drove my car...'' Said Bala
'Well I do not want you driving me...'' Said Raman angrily
'Papa...'' Ruhi called him in a small voice
'Are you alright...'' Aditya followed
'Yeah... Yeah am good...'' Said Raman checking his temper
'Okay, how about I drive you, either way you need an escort and I am as good as they get...'' Said Abhimanyu
'Fine...'' Said Raman throwing his hand up
'Shall we...''Said Abhimanyu
'Wait... I didn't say goodbye to mom...'' Said Aditya
'Adi... Seriously ...'' Said Mr. Iyer
'Sorry but I want to say bye to mom...'' Said Aditya
'Me too...'' Said Ruhi
'I will go get her...''Said Bala and he walked back upstairs again much to Raman's annoyance
Bala walked upstairs walking to Ishita's room and he could hear silent sobs coming from her room. She was sitting on the bed her hands on her face as she cried
'Ishu...'' He called her
Ishita looked up blinking hard in order to see Bala through the sheet of tears that were blocking her eyes. She wiped them with the back of her hand blinking again as she looked at him
'I am sorry...'' She said her voice breaking and Bala not knowing what to do walked up to her and put his arms around her
'It is okay...'' He whispered and Ishita began crying again
'It is too much...'' She said
'I know...'' Said Bala who was feeling really bad for the way things were turning out
'Ishu... Listen to me... I need you to pull yourself together and go downstairs...'' Said Bala
'No...'' She cried
'Your kids want you to see them off...'' Said Bala knowing she needed this more than she knew
'I can't let them see me like this...'' She cried
'I know but you can't disappoint them either. They won't leave unless you go down stairs...'' Said Bala pulling out of the hug and looking at her
'I know you can do this...'' He said holding her face
'You're stronger than you know...'' He added convincing her
Ishita took a minute or two before she got off the bed walking to her bathroom and washing her face. She walked to her walk in closet closing the door as she changed into a pair of pants before she walked out coming down stairs with Bala
Raman watched her come down her pants changed and smirked thinking his comment had done the trick but once she got closer he saw something was off. Her eyes were blood shot red and they were beginning to swell a bit. There was no way of hiding this even after washing her face as it was evident she had been crying and for lack of a better word, she looked horrible. Completely different from the woman he left upstairs
'Mom...'' Said Ruhi looking at her mother
'Hey hon...'' Said Ishita clearing her throat
'Ishi...'' Raman tried to calling her but even he couldn't quite get the name through his vocal cords
'Mama...''Said Aditya concerned as he went to his mom
'Are you alright...'' He asked as he began to cry
'Arre...Why are you crying? I am okay...'' Said Ishita being as strong as she could be but failing miserably
'I won't go if you do not want me to leave...''Said Ruhi who was beginning to cry as well

CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED EIGHT
Mr. Iyer in all honesty expected some sort of senile comment from Raman given he was snapping at everyone since he walked in but all he saw was concern on Raman's face for Ishita
'Don't be silly... You have been looking forward to this the whole week'' Said Ishita hugging her children
'I am absolutely fine... ' She added
'Are you sure...'' Said Ruhi through her tears
'Pinky, swear...'' Said Ishita as tears began welling up again
'Okay... Then why do you seem so sad then...''Said Aditya
'Because I am just having a very bad day and you are leaving me for the weekend, that is why but I will be fine... Your grandma and grandpa will keep me company. Plus Shlok Papa is also coming so I will be okay. ' Said Ishita composing herself
'And she can come see you anytime she wants...'' Added Raman concerned as he looked at Ishita
'See...'' Said Ishita thinking Raman was just saying that
'I will take good care of her, I promise...''Said Abhimanyu convincing them
'Okay...''Said Ruhi hugging her mom one more time
'I love you mom...'' She added
'I love you too...''Said Ishita
'I love you so much...'' Said Aditya
'And I love you too...'' Said Ishita as she hugged him too
Aditya and Ruhi stepped back looking at their mother concerned before they turned grabbing their toys each before Abhimanyu coughed saying
'Hey, aren't you forgetting something...'' And Aditya and Ruhi turned to him
None of them was in the mood for any of these games anymore given the state of their mother and so instead of doing it as planned Aditya said
'Dad... Give mom a hug...''
'What...'' Said Raman a bit surprised
'Hold on that is not what I meant...''Said Abhimanyu back tracking
'I know...'' Said Ruhi
'But still mom, give dad a hug too...'' Ruhi added
'Am sure your father has waited...'' Ishita who could see Raman get uncomfortable thought to help but Aditya was in no mood and Ishita was about to learn her kids were as stubborn as she was
'No Hug, No leaving...'' Said Aditya sitting down causing Bala to smile given how cute and sad this was at the same time
'Adi...'' Raman began
'No... In this family once someone is not feeling good we make them feel better. Mom is feeling sad and I need you to hug her, like Aditya hugs me when I am feeling sad'' Said Ruhi
Raman who knew it was going to be a waste of time arguing just gave in. In all honesty he wanted to do just that because once he saw her walk downstairs looking like that his heart melted to his feet feeling so bad for saying whatever he had said to her upstairs. Whatever misconception he had about her being fine while these divorce proceedings went on was shattered and he could see she was as broken or even more broken than he was.
He walked to where she was and put his hands around her pulling her in as tight as he could much to her surprise. She put her hands around him and forgetting where they were she just pulled him in and let her tears out. Raman could feel her tear drops on his shoulder and he couldn't help but say
'I am sorry...''
She felt the hairs on her body stand up as she pulled him in even more resting her face on the nape on his neck that Raman could feel her breath on his skin as she cried.
Mr. Iyer who was just standing there watching all this had never understood how much these two loved each other until that moment. It was just a hug, which took longer than it should have but my God did it speak volumes.
He was beginning to see that this whole stupid game that he started might have been a very bad idea after all. These two didn't need to prove anything anymore. It had to take a special kind of relationship and a very special kind of love to survive what these two went through and still be so much in love with each other like they had just met. It was like everything else didn't matter and whatever the hell they had been fighting for didn't occur and they were falling in love all over again
'Ehhhmmm...'' Said Abhimanyu causing them to pull apart
Raman pulled out first looking at Ishita who was having tears in her eyes but she refused to look back at him knowing it would be hard to let him walk out and so she just kept her eyes firmly fixed on the ground.
'Shall we leave...'' Abhimanyu added
'Sure...'' Said Raman still looking at Ishita before he turned grabbing the kids' bags and walked out
'Bye mom...'' The kids said
'Bye...'' She said her voice breaking and Aditya and Ruhi followed their father
As soon as the door shut Ishita lifted her head looking at the door as tears streaming down like there was broke pipe somewhere on her face. She stood there for a minute or two and she could have sworn her father said something but she didn't hear it. She was just in a stance of her own and she didn't want anyone else there but her and her pain.
She turned and looked at her mother whom she could hear in an echo calling her but she just ignored her turning around as she walked to her room. Bala on the other hand was more irritated than anything and was about to give his piece of mind to Mr. Iyer
'It takes a special kind of parent to see that and still think playing with her emotions is okay...'' He said
'Excuse me...'' Said a taken back Mr. Iyer
'Someone needs to tell her what is going on because this is not okay. Let her have an opportunity to determine if she doesn't want this marriage. Give her your reservations and see how she handles this or better yet tell Raman your reservations and give him a chance to prove his worth. Blackmailing them while playing with their emotions is not...'' Bala began
'Bala we are doing this...'' Mr. Iyer began
'I do not care why you are doing it but it is not okay. Haven't they paid enough for their deeds? What happened to the father she adored, the one who would do anything for her? I mean look at her... 'He said pointing at the stairs where Ishita had passed
'In which planet is that okay...'' he added
'This is for her good...'' Said Mr. Iyer unconvincingly
'This is not for anyone's good. You did not see her upstairs. If this was heartbreaking to watch you should have seen her upstairs. She could barely talk between her sobs. This is killing her... It is like you all haven't learnt from your mistakes. A parent interfering in their case has NEVER turned out well... Why are you doing the same...'' Said an angry Bala and rightly so
'You can't talk to me like that...'' Said Mr. Iyer
'Whatever... All I am saying is the truth... ' Said Bala walking away before he turned back saying
'You know Mr. Bhalla always put Raman first. I mean, in his own twisted way, Raman's happiness came firsthand that is why Ishita married his son for 4 years because his hate for Ishita was so less compared to his love for Raman... You are just doing this intentionally at the expense of her pain and that of her children, your grandchildren, that makes you the worst parent...'' And shaking his head as he grabbed his keys and walked out
Mrs. Iyer slumped into the chair and began to cry knowing Bala was bang on and they themselves were destroying their daughter's life. That was heart breaking for any mother to watch. Ishita had been through hell, she had survived the ends of hell and she got back stronger than before.
The Ishita that walked downstairs, the Ishita they saw was a shadow of the daughter they knew. It was like everything she went through Raman's love had kept her sane and strong even knowing she couldn't have it but there was always a hope. His being in that house picking up the kids may have just sent a message home that he was really gone and that brought her to her knees.
Ishita never cried for anything, not like that and seeing her like that scared the living hell out of Mrs. Iyer.
'Fix this... Fix this Iyer...'' She said
'I will...'' Said Mr. Iyer as he hugged his wife who was in tears
They stayed in the living room for a while before they walked upstairs to go check on Ishita. Mrs. Iyer was a bit concerned about her daughter's demeanor and wanted to ensure that she was okay. She and her husband walked to Ishita's room and they could see she was laying on the bed her back facing the door but they could hear her sobs
'Ishu...'' Her mother called her but she just kept quiet
'Ishu honey, are you alright...'' Said Mr. Iyer but all this just fell on deaf ears
Mrs. Iyer walked to the other side of the room such that she could look at her daughter in the face and she saw Ishita was just laying there, tears streaming down her face as she let out silent sobs
Ishu...'' Mrs. Iyer called her again concerned but Ishita didn't say a word
It was like her body was in that room but her mind had drifted and had gone someplace else. Mr. Iyer ran his hand through her hair almost as if comforting her but she didn't move. She instead held the pillow tight with one hand while she rested her head on the palm of her other hand
'Ma...'' In came Mihika who had just walked in
'Is everything alright, Abhimanyu asked me to get back...''She added but her teary eyed mother just looked at her
'Ishu... Oh My God Ishu, are you alright...'' Sad Mihika who heard her sob and the concern on her parents' faces sort of scared her a bit
When Ishita heard Mihika's voice she lifted her head looking at her sister before she said
'Mihika...'' Crying some more and Mihika ran to her putting her hands around her
Ishita rested her head on her sister's shoulder and just cried. Mihika knew more than anyone else that she needed that cry and she also knew that her parents being in that room in that moment wasn't helping
'Both of you need to get out...'' Said Mihika
'I just want...'' Mrs. Iyer began
'Ma... Out now'' Said Mihika as he held Ishita's head while rubbing her back
'We just wanted to help...''Said a concerned Mr. Iyer
'You have done enough of that for one day...'' Said Mihika before she angrily turned to her sister
'It is okay... Ishu it is alright...''She added comforting Ishita
The Iyers always took pride in knowing these sisters always had each other's backs especially when it mattered but they had also learnt enough to know that once one of them was pissed, the other didn't need a reason to be. They spoke the same language and they were all head strong.
Mihika back talking at her parents was her own way of telling them how Ishita felt and the Iyers knew that if this didn't end soon, those kids were going to have a load of resentment for them, something they didn't want.
As Mr. Iyer walked out, he prayed that whatever they had planned would be done over that weekend while Raman had the kids. It was the only way this was working.

CHAPTER ONE HUNDERED NINE
Abhimanyu drove Raman and the kids to his house and they wouldn't stop talking. They told their father about everything they could think of even the most ridiculous stories and as Abhimanyu could see, Raman was clearly enjoying it. It was a welcome light heartedness that was needed after that episode at the Iyers.
They got to the Bhallas where Raman took them to their room showing them everything he had gotten.
'Hold on what are we celebrating...'' Said Ruhi who was still in awe
'Nothing... Why...'' Asked Raman
'All this and we are not celebrating. Is it my birthday and I forgot again'' Said Aditya
'No... These are just gifts that I got you all because I love you very much'' Said Raman
'Thank you Dad...'' Said Aditya as he run around the room grabbing everything and anything his tiny hands could get a hold of
Raman excused himself going back to the living room as he wanted to see off Abhimanyu. Now the plan was simple, Abhimanyu was supposed to raise even more suspicion where Bala and Ishita were concerned but not too much that he lost faith. But as Abhimanyu was about to find out this was going to be easier said than that
'Thank you so much...'' Said Raman as he got back
'Anytime, anything that is Ishita's is my responsibility'' Said Abhimanyu
'Do not worry, the kids will be fine ' Said Raman
'I meant you as well...'' Said Abhimanyu but Raman just scoffed saying
'I doubt that...''
' So with Bala earlier I assume you heard...'' Said Abhimanyu as he sat down with Raman
'About his so called marriage plans... Yeah he told me'' Said Raman
'He told you himself...'' Said Abhimanyu pretending to be surprised
'So you knew as well... Why am I always the last to find out things'' He said
'In all fairness even Ishita doesn't know yet...'' Said Abhimanyu
'Really...'' Said Raman
'Yeah and if am being honest, she is going to turn him down'' Said Abhimanyu
'But her father...'' Said Raman
'Doesn't matter... I think she has only loved twice in her life and was in love with only one of us. I doubt she will go through that again, if you two call it quits...'' Said Abhimanyu
'In love with one of us huh, am assuming that would beyou ...'' Said Raman
'Oh please you know the answer to that you do not need me to tell you. Besides I am not the one she married'' Said Abhimanyu looking at Raman
Raman looked at Abhimanyu almost as if he was reading something from his face. Something didn't seem right and Raman was slowly beginning to notice that. The Ishita he saw, that broken almost unrecognizable woman he left behind was not the Ishita he knew. She was not the self-confident Ishita he knew and if she wanted this divorce as much as she claimed, she would have been fighting tooth and nail for it. Then there was this little matter. Abhimanyu in his house talking Ishita and Bala up was even weirder. Abhimanyu and Raman's relationship was not a close on and everything he always did Ishita's interests were at the forefront of everything.
Abhimanyu indirectly convincing Raman not to give up on Ishita was a tad strange.Something was off.
'Raman...'' Abhimanyu called him
'Are you hiding something from me...'' Raman said abruptly
'Excuse me...'' Said Abhimanyu
'No... No... I mean I know you owe me nothing let alone some sense of loyalty because you and I are not very fond of each other...'' Raman said
'Raman...'' Said Abhimanyu
'No... It is fine and it is no secret. But I would like to think that you and I care about her very much. And even with everything that you tow went through I would want to still think she is important to you'' Said Raman
'Get to the point...'' Said Abhimanyu who wasn't sure where this conversation was going
'What the hell is going on? I mean I know something doesn't add up and the Ishita I saw a few hours ago is definitely not what I expected...'' Said Raman
'What did you expect her to be like? You two are getting a divorce...'' Said Abhimanyu
'Don't do that... I hate it when people try to patronize me. Don't do that... All I am doing to asking a fair and simple question because I know in my heart of hearts something is not adding up...'' Said Raman
'How so...'' Said Abhimanyu pretending
'She was happy with me Abhi... I could have sworn she was looking to us having a second chance together and now suddenly she is telling me she wants a divorce for no apparent reason. The reasons she gives do not make sense because if she was still angry with me about the past she would have never comeback... I know something is off'' Said Raman
Abhimanyu looked at him for a second or two before he got up from where he was seated grabbing the car keys are he said
'That instinct... That hunch... Go with it...I can't tell you because I promised her I won't but it is all you got at this point...''
'Meaning...'' Said Raman
'Meaning I have a date and I need to go. I hate to keep Vidya waiting'' Said Abhimanyu
'Wait...'' Said Raman
'Bye Raman...'' Said Abhimanyu turning on his way out
'Talk to your lawyer... I mean seriously talk to Kushan...'' He added then walked out the door
Raman looked at Abhimanyu and as much as he had questions he knew him well enough to know that he wasn't getting any answers. He turned walking up stairs to go spend some time with his children
'So... How do you like the place...'' He said as he walked into their room
'It is amazing, thanks Dad...'' Said Aditya
'I only wish mom was here...'' Said Ruhi
'Yeah me too...'' Said Aditya
'Well, am sure she would have wanted to be here as well'' Said Raman
'You should forg...'' Ruhi began but Aditya stopped her
'Ruhi... No...'' Said Aditya
'What...'' Said Raman
'Uhhh nothing dad, Ruhi is just...'' Said Aditya
'Adi...'' Said Raman but Aditya just kept quiet not saying anything and Ruhi followed suit
'So you are not telling me what this is all about'' Said Raman
'Abhi Uncle said it was a secret...'' Said Ruhi
'What secret...'' Said Raman
'Well if we tell you, then it is really not a secret anymore'' Said Aditya
'Okay... Am I allowed to ask if it is a good secret or a bad secret'' Said Raman
'What is the difference'' Said Ruhi innocently
'Well a good secret is one where we know that you're doing it for the good of someone, a bad secret is the one we keep even knowing we are hurting someone. I usually opt for neither...'' Said Raman
'Why...'' Said Ruhi
'Because keeping things from the people you love is never a good thing. I learnt that the hard way'' Said Raman
'Are secrets bad'' Said Aditya
'When it comes to the people you love and care about then yes'' Said Raman
Ruhi and Aditya looked at each other conflicted as to whether they tell their father what they were up to with Abhimanyu or just keep it a secret for a while longer for because they genuinely wanted to help their mother.
'What is it...'' Asked Raman who could see they were worried about something
'If we tell you then you won't be angry with mom or us'' Said Aditya who was visibly shaken up
'Okay...'' Said Raman
'Promise...'' Said Ruhi
'I promise come on just tell me...'' Said Raman and Ruhi looked at her brother, hesitating as she said
'Well... we know mom did something wrong. And we know that you are mad at her...''
'What makes you say that...'' Raman tried to tell them
'Well if you were not mad at her, she would have been here with us but she is not...'' Said Aditya
'That is not...'' Raman said feeling bad given the look on his kids' faces
'We know she did something bad and we are sorry...'' Said Ruhi
'Yeah please forgive her... Am sure she didn't mean it...'' Said Aditya
Raman looked at his children and their innocent faces and his heart broke not believing Ishita had the capacity to stoop this low to involve them in this stupidity. How far was she willing to go?
'You know mom loves you very much. She just doesn't say it much...'' Said Ruhi
'Wha...'' Said Raman much to Raman's surprise
'Yeah she writes it down all the time... Wait let show you...'' Said Aditya getting off the bed as he Raman d grabbed his bag taking out three diaries
'Here hold this...'' He said giving Raman two of them as he opened the other
'Okay I am not supposed to have this but I like it when Mihika auntie reads it to us...'' He added
'What is that...'' Said Raman curious
'It is mom's book... She has two, one where we always write and this one...'' Said Ruhi
What is the difference...'' Said Raman
'Well this one has the story of when you two met and fell in love...'' Said Ruhi
'I love that story... And at the end of each page she writes I love you, Always Ishita... See...'' Said Aditya handing his dad the dairy
'Mihika auntie says it is very momantic...'' Said Ruhi
'Ro...'' Said Raman letting out a soft laugh as he added
'Romantic...''
'Yeah that one...'' Said Ruhi
Raman took the book in his hand opening it and on the first page it was beautifully written:
He perused through the first two pages not believing what he was reading. She was talking about the day they met, how she couldn't take her eyes off his lips and yet she had to act like she was angry. Giving it away that she liked what she saw was not a part of the mission and how she knew this would be a journey in her career and life that was not going to be easy. It was so surreal reading it; it was like a tiny window into her mind. It was like a part of her he fought so hard to know was written on these pages. For a woman who claimed hatred for them, this diary spoke of a different story. She was still in love with him...
He looked through that dairy remembering what he knew and what he had come to learn about her. She was the strongest person he had ever known which as always evident when it came to hard times but as history had taught them, she had a weakness and that was always her family. It was good how she cared for them but most of the time they were they were the reason she gave up on a lot of things.
The look in her eyes when she came down stairs spoke volumes and he was beginning to see, there was more to this divorce story than met the eye. She didn't seem like she wanted this divorce, not the way he was seeing it and if she was still going ahead with it, it has everything to do with her parents, most especially her father,.
