This news indeed came as a shock for Abhi but he did not want to reflect any of his reactions to Pragya. He needed time to think about it. To begin with Abhi knew why Pragya wasn't able to conceive. He had been doing unsafe sex only on her safe days to avoid pregnancy. But still it was the golden opportunity for him to get Pragya out and property in. While he understood why Pragya was doing this for him, he didn't want her to do it. Pragya would not be able to enjoy motherhood only to maintain this lie. And the biggest reason was, he wanted to find a solution without brining anything related to a child in between. Irrespective of Pragya's decision to be a mother or not in her later life, Abhi was in no way going to accept this offer.

Next day morning Abhi told Pragya about his decision and also that if required they would be consulting specialist about her conceiving issues after trying for few more months. Also that he would stop using protection that he was using only to stay longer during the act. And she should not stress herself on this issue.

Pragya was still not feeling well, she decided to skip office and think further on this topic. Pragya had high temperature when Abhi reached home. Abhi immediately called the doctor. Later when Pragya's temperature came down, she realized that Abhi was sitting next to him. She remembered their conversation in the morning and again she started the same topic. Abhi patiently told her that he would not be giving her divorce for this reason. She should just relax. Then Abhi lied down next to her holding her in his arm. That was the first time Pragya was sleeping in Abhi's arms like this. She was wondering if his boss was right about Abhi that he would never give her divorce but then why the child's clause was required. Anyways Abhi had said he would not give divorce for this particular reason. Many thought were running in Pragya's mind. Pragya looked up at Abhi's face in the hope to read some emotions in his eyes. Abhi jerked his shoulder to signal that she should sleep. Pragya was finding some solace in his arms that night, she moved her head further in his chest, rubbed her nose to his t-shirt and then slept.

Pragya's decision baffled Abhi. He no more had hard feelings for her. But still she was the same woman who had chosen her interest over a child's interest. She shouldn't have agreed for this deal without discussing with him. And when he went to meet her before marriage, she chose to display her professional superiority over their life.

Abhi was irked the way Pragya had left the conference room abruptly, the day when he went to meet her for the first time. He went to discuss with her the possible solutions to avoid the wedding but she gave him a cold welcome and her whole cabin smelled of her controlling nature and bossy attitude. The painting he made in his childhood seemed so wrong in that place.

Despite of all these, Abhi's heart had already developed a soft corner for Pragya. But he did not want to go into that dangerous zone of love and emotions specially now when he was finally getting some success in his mission. He decided to go back on some trip to avoid Prgaya.

Pragya was fine in a couple of days and it was time for Abhi to leave again on his next trip. The night before when they were relaxing after the act, Pragya asked Abhi if he had ever missed her during his trips. Abhi took a moment to reply and told her that whenever he sees a girl in specs going to school, it reminds him of Pragya and also at times in shower, then he winked at Pragya. Pragya had specs that she used to wear only while reading, mostly during nights before sleeping.

That was Abhi's way to interpret Pragya, always well-dressed like a uniform, living a disciple life & walking on a defined path like a student.

Pragya was unable to understand what exactly Abhi wanted from her. She had offered him his freedom served on a plate and he declined to take it. He refused to give her divorce and missing her in a cute way during his trips. Pragya's most of the free time was going in thinking about Abhi. Whatever the doubts she had on Abhi's intentions were vanished after his denial to give her divorce. Pragya was very happy to realize that her husband was unlike his father. He wasn't cruel to take away her motherhood for his happiness. She was ready to accept her marriage with full heart and with a hope that everything would sort out in time.

Pragya was changing bit by bit. Abhi's family had finally accepted her. She had started taking a lot more interest in the house. She was seen a lot more in Dadi's room mostly to know about Abhi's stories of his mischievous childhood. She had started to cook on Sundays, gossiping a little with the other ladies of the house and sometimes helped kids with their school projects.

The time that earlier she used to spend in making business strategies was now going in other family activities. In office also she had started day-dreaming about Abhi.

Pragya was falling in love with Abhi. She was not bother about Abhi's girlfriend anymore after knowing that Abhi himself was not interested in going back to his past. Abhi was right, she should stop taking stress then only she can conceive.

This time Pragya was impatiently waiting for Abhi. She was no more in hurry to start a family. Abhi was her first love and she was indeed doing some crazy things like smelling his jackets, sleeping with his photos, cleaning his already cleaned guitars.

Pragya was no more standing firm on the ground and she was so lost in her love that she missed to notice that her ground was shaking.

Abhi was surprised to see Pragya at the airport. The moment they entered in their room, Abhi was all over her. He had missed her terribly this time and Pragya reciprocated with the same passion. Abhi was amazed to see her changed avatar but she was still shy during the final act.

This time he had brought a lot of printed photos of the tribes he visited and was patiently answering all her questions. Pragya was over the moon, she had special interest in different tribal communities and Abhi gave her so much information about a particular tribe that was hard to find in the books.

Pragya hugged him tight and thanked him. Abhi asked a cup of tea to return the favor. They both were having tea together and watching pics in the living room when Abhi's masiji saw them. She had come to visit Abhi from Canada. Masiji never wanted this alliance. She had her owns doubts about this marriage knowing Abhi's bitterness for his father. But now it seemed to her that finally their relationship was going in the right direction. They both were looking so good together. They were two beautiful people and should definitely make beautiful babies together. Masiji smiled on her own thought and went back inside in her room to pray to God to keep them always together.

Masiji was not the only one who thought that they both look good together. Abhi and Pragya very often used to get this compliment. There was something very attractive about them.

Pragya was head over heels in love with Abhi but she never cared to tell him. She never found it necessary to tell him. He was already her husband; they both were living a happy life. The thought of proposing him or confessing her love for him never came in her mind.

Abhi was also changing. Unknowingly he had started taking care of Pragya. They used to have breakfast together and Abhi always made sure she had her dinner before going to bed. Staff was instructed to give fresh juice to Pragya twice daily. Also, he had started going with her for all business dinners.

And in few days it was time for Abhi to leave on his next trip.

This time when Abhi returned back, his behavior was very different. His first album was ready to be released but he postponed the release date. He was trying his best to be normal but Pragya had a gut-feeling that something was troubling him. She wasn't able to exactly pin-point but she knew something was bothering Abhi.

One evening when Pragya came back from office, she saw Abhi smoking in the balcony. That was the first time Pragya had seen him smoke. He looked stressed. She offered him tea and started little talks with him. And for the first time, Pragya started to share funny stories about her college mates to cheer Abhi's mood. Weather was nice that evening. Pragya asked Abhi if he feels like playing guitar in such weather. Abhi refused and went inside to sleep. Pragya's no trick worked that night.

Holy shit gurrlll!!! Your story or rather stories are so captivating and fun and just amazing! I love reading them and am so glad that a writer whose stories i like to read updates her stories so frequently and consistently! I read Relationship and was IN LOVE with that story! Everything about it was amazing and you kept up the mystery for so long which was quiet impressive! I loved that story.!

Moving on to this story... 👏. Very impressed again! The concept isn't out of the ball park but you have taken a concept and made it your own! And YOUR OWN... I love. I think I should reread the first chapter for clarity but I am so confused as to why Abhi and Mr. Mehra have a bad relationship.

Also I find it extremely absurd that Pragya is a already in love and that Abhi has already created a soft corner for her and we are just on chapter 4 😆😃! But again... I believe that this is leading to a great plot twist!

Anyways buddy, keep up the A++ work and continue what you are doing because its great! Looking forward to the next chapter!
