She jumped down from his back excitedly startling and scaring him "God Ridhima kya kar rahi ho?, lag jayegi to?"said Armaan ... She sat beside him and showed him the article she had been searching for with such enthusiasm for "tch Armaan nahi lagegi, see this... see na" she made him stop his push-ups and forced him to look at the article "kya hai baba, dikhao" he said exasperated looking at the newspaper which read "Dr. Armaan Malik grabs the Sanjeevani Expansion Project" with a big picture of him..."Armaan glaced at Ridhima who had a million dollar smile...'See kitna acha article hai and see the picture it's come nice na ? I'll read it for you?" she asked so excitedly just like a kid and he obviously did not have a heart to refuse her so smiling he just nodded and she began reading it with so much excitement and pride in her eyes. Once that she was done reading it she began gloating over every line and praised him even more "maine to pehle hi kaha tha that you will only get the project and..." But she was cut in between by Armaan " Bas baby... Kitna khush ho rahi ho ek article padhke...'' "of course khush hoon...after all you have worked so hard and have accomplished your dream...I am so so happy'' he could see that she was genuinely happy and gently kissed her forehead and said " I am happy that are happy.." she grinned at him and stood up immediately making him frown "ab kya hua yaar?" he asked a little annoyed..."just a minute" saying so she got a scissor from the nearby drawer and sat back beside him carefully cutting the article . He looked at her with a confused look which she clearly saw so before he could question her she herself spoke "I want to keep this article safely with me isliye I am cutting it and keeping it with me jaise mein papa ke articles collect karti th..." she stopped abruptly realizing that those days were no more there and her father who she loved dearly was not her's anymore...Armaan could clearly see the thin layer of moisture gathering around her eyes and he was not stupid to not know the reason. Even during the party when she had seen Shashank she tried approaching him but he just ignored her breaking her heart again...Armaan knew that she craved to get her father's love again and though he promised to fulfill all her desires this was one area where he too could not do anything...He glanced at a now glum Ridhima and cursed Shashank for the umpteenth time.. he gingerly placed his arm around her shoulder and giving her a side hug tenderly kissed her forehead..."You know I love you right?" he asked rather said to assure her, she stared deep into his eyes and nodded with a lone tear slipping off her eyes which needless to say was immediately wiped off by him and hugged her again. He just held her close to himself giving her the much needed assurance of having somebody who loves her...after a few moments he broke the hug and kissed her forehead gently. She looked up at him and smiled lightly conveying to him that she was okay. He gently caressed her face and smiled back at her and took her in another hug..."Bhook lagi hai??" he asked still in the hug and smiled when he felt her nod against his shoulder..." so then let's go and fill my princess's hungry tummy" he said getting up and pulling her up as well...As they reached the kitchen he picked her up and made her sit on the slab beside the stove and wearing his apron he said with a bow "Cheff Armaan is at your service your highness" making her giggle... He smiled at her and soon began making breakfast for both of them chatting and romancing with her in between, finally after having the yummy breakfast came the most "challenging task" as Armaan called it of the day and that was Mrs. Malik's medicine time :p... He made her sit on the bed in their room and pouring the bitter syrup in a cup he forwarded it to her.."Basket chalo have this now" he said to which she simply scrunched her nose and turned her face the other way "nautaunki" thought Armaan with a chuckle..."Mujhe nahi peena yeh, it's so bitter and just so, so...disgusting'' she said now hiding her face with a pillow...Armaan sighed deeply seeing her acting so stubborn...he kept the cup aside and sat beside her gently removing the pillow from her face and explaining her in the most gentle way possible 'I know bacha, I know that the medicine is bitter and I also know that you don't like it...and what do u think mujhe acha lagta hai tumhe yeh dene mein knowing very well how much you despise it..hmm?" he asked she bowed her head with pouting lips and just shook her head gently like a guilty kid making him smile at her. He gently cupped her face making her look at him "But you need to have it right? Nahi to mera bacha jaldi jaldi kaise theek hoga?? And kal se to tum Sanjeevani bhi join kar rahi ho so I want you to be hale and hearty for which you have to have to have this shona, right? He asked hoping that she would now say ayes and he was not disappointed as the next moment he saw her giving in and nodding her head.."hmm..,to chalo jaldi se peelo" he told her handling her the cup making her scrunch her nose again but she had it anyways. Once that she finished it he rubbed her back a bit and gave her a glass of water as he knew that the bitter taste made her feel nauseous...After a few minutes when she felt better he kissed her head and said "That's like my good girl...ab since you have been such a good girl, main soch raha tha ki tonight after dinner we will go for a long drive and on the way ek ice cream bhi khe lenge, what say?" he asked rather said with a smile and as soon as she heard him she literally jumped in happiness "eepss.. yes! Amazing idea " she said all excited making him smile even more...''hmm chalo ab bohot masti ho gayi, if you want the plan to remain as it is to abhi chup chap rest karo, I don't want you straining yourself at all" said Armaan while tucking her in properly and making her sleep " aye aye captain" she replied teasingly making him smile...
After a few hours Ridhima woke up and her eyes immediately landed on Armaan who sat by the study totally engrossed in a file with his back facing her...She got up carefully and tip toing hugged him from behind startling him but also making him smile...He held her hands that landed near his neck and tilting up as he was still seated while she was standing kissed her forehead " Uth gaya mera bacha.." he said getting back to his file while she still stood hugging him.."hmm.. she replied still in a sleepy mode making him smile even more and so finally shutting his files he turned around and pulled her in his lap and she immidately snuglled against his chest...He pecked her lips lightly and just let her be in his arms for a while...After a while when Mrs. Malik was out of her sleepy mode they had their lunch and just lazed around the whole day enjoying and cherishing each other's presence...
~After Dinner~
Finally they were done with their dinner and as promised Armaan was taking Ridhima for a drive and her most awaited ice cream :p...But they first had to pass by Sanjeevani as Armaan had to drop a file for Rahul urgently...Once they reached Sanjeevani Armaan told Ridhima to wait in the car while he would quickly give the file and return..."Fine, but jaldi ana I am waiting" she said "of course sweetheart mein bas yu gaya aur yu aya..", saying so he left...Ridhima went through her messages while waiting for him. After about 10 minutes when she was done with her phone she looked up and saw something rather someone right beside the Sanjeevani car park. Seeing the person she began to sweat profusely, her heart beat increased rapidly and she began to panic.."Ar..armaan" was all that she could say and think of at the moment. She got down from the car and ran towards the entrance still keeping her eyes fixed on the person..She soon bumped into someone and looking up found herself in her Armaan's arms withot wasting a second..."Ridhima tum..tum yaha kya kar rahi ho? I told u to wait in the car right? And why were you running and why are you sweating?" he asked with concern.."Ar..Armaan who who waha..." she turned pointing at the direction of "that person " but was shocked to find nobody there..."waha kya Ridhima?? Kon tha?" he asked again, but the sudden disappearance confused her and so she decided to not tell him anything for now..."ku..kuch nahi..woh tum, tumne kaha tha jaldi ayoge so I just came to check" she said giving an excuse.. He looked at her intently and knew that there was something disturbing her but he thought to let her be for the time being..." ha who bas aa hi raha tha, anyway lets go" he said leading her towards the car...Soon the settled down and drove off, after a few minutes Armaan asked her "So bolo kaha khani hai ice cream meri princess ko?"..."uhmm Armaan, can we just go home, I dint feel like having anything' she replied making him shocked. He was now sure that something was wrong as Ridhima would never say no to ice cream, for a moment he even wondered of her heath was fine..."kya hua Ridhima, tum theek to ho na bacha? Tabyat to theek hai na?" he asked all concerned for her..."haa Armaan I am fine just a little tired, so if you don't mind can we pleas just go home" she requested..."of course baby, why will I mind.. we will go home hmm?" he said to which she just nodded ...
Soon enough they reached their house and were all ready for bed. Ridhima rested her head on his chest while he lay flat on his back...She unknowingly kept on playing with his fingers with one hand while the other hand held him as tight as possible...Armaan was a bit worried seeing her behavior he knew something was not right and so finally he asked her "Ridhima what wrong princess? Kabse dekh rah ahu you seem lost and not too forget very tensed." ...she stared at him blankly for a few seconds, thinking how he could always sense her discomfort, however keeping her thoughts aside and looking down she replied "Ku..kuch nahi I am just a little tired...I..I'll just sleep. Goodnight" saying so she closed her pretending to sleep completely forgetting that it was her Armaan who she was trying to fool. He gently kissed her forehead and bending down slightly whispered in her ears "I love you baby and I know there is something bothering you and I know you will tell me when you feel like but jo bhi ho I assure you all will be fine! Remember no matter what I'll always be with you" saying so he too closed his eyes but the next moment smiled widely when he felt her feather like kiss against his chest conveying to him that his words were well received...

NOTE: Hello readers I am so sorry for this really late update but as I said I was really busy...I don't really know how the part has come out so pls feel free to give me an honest opinion. Also before you all kill me...the suspense will be revealed soon so not much of a wait would be there...lastly thank you for being so patient with me and waiting for the part with so much love :)
