Here is today's take five. There were some good points today.
But before that, I have to mentioned these friends.

You guys are really really sweet...😳🤗 and you know why!! 😃 I really would love to know your names. I know only few of them here.
Moving on...here is today Top Five
1) Responsibility: Whenever there is a problem in the home, of with any one of the family, there are going to be some tension in the air. Children are very sensitive and they catch up on this fact fairly easily. However many parents try to shield them from this problem. But, as long as it is an age appropriate issue, we should share our problems with them. They are good listeners, they are very understanding, they are not as fragile as we think, they are strong and they can bring you hope when you have lost it. Remember, even though they are young, they are not stupid, they have their own identity and self-respect, they can be a contributing member of the house. This will only enable them, they will feel included and be proud of themselves, they can develop a sense of worth.
For example, my mom was a single parent trying to raise two daughters with a very small salary. Both I and my sister were very much aware of our financial situation. My mother never tried to shield her problems from us. This only bought us closer as a family. I and my sister never demanded anything outrageous which would require lot of money. We knew the financial situation and we were content with what we had. I would take care of my sister, who was almost five years younger than me after school. This is when I was as young as 11 years old and my sister was 6 years old. I and sister even today, after so many years share a deep bond which was because I spent time with her in childhood.
I also remember a very fine movie in Kannada 'Namma Makkalu', meaning 'Our Children'. The main family consists of a working father, a house wife mother, two sons and a daughter. Although they are not rich and have humble financial status, they are content. However problems start when all three children have a demand like buying cricket bat, school trip or something like that. The salary of the father cannot afford any of this. They come up with a plan. They let their children manage the entire household for a month, the father will give his salary to them. They have to pay all the bills, household expenses. At the end of the month whatever they are able to save, it is theirs and can do anything with the remaining money. What a lovely movie it was and do catch it if possible.
2) The dreaded 'NO': Often parents word 'No' more than the word 'Yes'. Again, to continue from the previous point. When we say No to the kid, let us explain why that is, instead of making a blanket statement. Let us allow them to make their point and make them realize why their argument is invalid.
3) Elder Sibling: Dedicated to all the elder siblings (myself included 😃) We take care of our younger siblings, almost like a parent, wipe their tears, play with them and promptly give all your unwanted tasks to them and make them work for you!!!
4) A drop of Lemon: A drop of lemon is all it takes for milk to curdle. One petty person can sour our life to a large extent. Be very careful of such persons in your life and stay hundred kilometers from them.
5) Finally mother's wait is ended: After a long wait the mothers finally meet their sons. Again we need to ask, why do we have to neglect the love of a mother for rules?
