It was then he understood that he had fallen in love with a stranger.

There was a minute of silence almost as if they were recognizing that their lives were about to change. He walked forward and slightly touched her cheek as he removed the fringe of hair that was blocking the view of her beautiful bright eyes. He then took her in his embrace like his life depended on it. He held her one hand on her waist and the other on her hair as he felt the wetness on his chest from the tears she was finally letting out.

She looked at Raman who had been lying on that same bed in a coma for the last 12 months and couldn't believe how fate had punished her. She took his hand in hers and said a prayer like she always did asking God to get her life line back to her.
As she closed her eyes and bowed to pray she felt a faint hold from him. She stayed still her eyes still closed hoping that he was actually doing that. She kept on murmuring repeatedly
'Please God let him be okay...'' as she opened her eyes and what she saw she couldn't believe
He was sitting there looking at her; he was actually looking at her for the first time in 12 months Raman was looking at her
'Shagun...'' he whispered which caused her to break down
She held his hand as she cried uncontrollably for a few seconds before she stood up and went and called the Bhalla and the doctor
Santosh walked in with tears streaming down her face thanking the stars that her only child was back, her only child was alive, and he had come back to her. She and her husband walked up to him and hugged him each wanting to say so much and yet nit knowing how to put it into words
The doctors had checked him. He seemed okay; he seemed like he was going to be getting back a clean bill of health until he turned to his mother and said
'Mama where is my wife... Where is Ishita...''

RAMAN was a happy man content with his life; he had a beautiful wife who adored him, two beautiful children Aditya and Ruhi who were his everything. Not many people would say this but for Raman life was as perfect as it could ever be.
But, tragedy struck that saw him lose the most important person in the world turning him into a single father and a very angry man. He had a lot of regret and was in a lot of pain. Hetried to do everything for his childrentried to over compensatefor the void the death of their mother left but along the way he lost himself in his grief and forgot his children burying himself in his work.
Not being able to do it all the time, he hired a nanny to help out with the kids and she ended up shattering everything. In this bid to fight her own demons and past she found solace with his family.
