But KK even i want Shaad's character to be clearly defined , whether as a grey one or a pure negative, right now how hes like, i wont be able to enjoy the triangle either, cz i m just waiting fr Jannat /Sanam to be away frm him as far as possible, thers no fun watching this triangle,

There will be lots of Junoon but the fun part will be missing regarding the triangle which i was so looking forward to 😕

But anyways lets see how do they show it, n how do they execute it

Audience may not feel sick for the same reasons as mine, you are right. But for audience it will not work with him being not clearly defined as grey or negative.

Shaad is least important to me anyway...

But if I am asked to define Shaad..

He is definitely gray. As gray as the gray matter he lacks!

Jannat has clearly told him that she loves someone very dearly. If in spite of that, he wants her affections and does not reveal her past to her...whatever excuse he has is to suit himself/ Like Mandy so clearly explained..he is gray.

But every character can have a growth...He will definitely grow to be white...might turn darker before he gets there finally...(That is the only way the CVs can do justice to Shaad now.)

Case in Study: Maan's brother from Geet.

He married Geet for the dowry, got her pregnant and deserted her. Maan fell in love with her not knowing the connection with his brother...and this bro still tried to make a mess of Geet- He wanted her out of his brother's life too..BLACK till here.

But along the way he started repenting...and when Geet understood that he had truly repented, she forgave him. (No idea if there was slap gate.)

Ayaan was forgiven. Rehaan was forgiven. In Season 3, Shaad will be forgiven...but he will probably have to work harder to earn it.

F32 IV- VT says the character is written with a lot of thought and there are lots of expectations...so we are only seeing the tip of the iceberg.😉😆

I don't know about Ayaan, but Dev is not a good example.

Dev was shown for what he was, as he was. There was no whitewashing or sugarcoating his actions, even if early on too they gave more complexities to it as well.

It is not the same as Dev and Geet.

Anyway, this is a tired point. we are just going on about a hypothetical and hypothesis. And we are getting stuck at the same point and repeating over and over.

Nothing will change for the next two days. When we see the story move I will be back to discuss accordingly.

Ah! U have a point. Dev was not a good eg., I agree. But forgiven he was. (U know that show better than me😳.)

What I meant to say was even a guy as black and bleak as that can be forgiven. That's all. Yeah. Let the story move. These are indeed only speculations.😊

Because Sanam does not have to fall in love with Ahil- The knowledge hat he is the reason behind the overwhelming feeling sinside her is enough for her. The day she goes she is the one who loves her, she'd choose him- because SHE NEVER LOVED SHAAD.😳

This is where it is different for THIS MARRIED WOMAN.

And as far as her link sto Ahil and memories go...This is what I called Jannatification of Sanam.
It is like a child adapting to a new place...Over months and years she starts forgetting the one she came from...New memories are formed, and her lifestyle and values change accordingly. (I am not saying the child will have no old memories- That si because it does not have amnesia.)

Now why did Jannat stop having memories?

So that'd tempt Shaad more...The more she stopped mentioning her past, the more he felt it was right for him to fall for her. Because subconsciously he is taking it as her reciprocating to him...

She is not. She is reacting to situations...and trying to be a good wife. He is mistaking it for love in his FOOLISHNESS.

Yes Jannat is trying to fulfill her duties by being nice to all family members.She is good at heart,rushes into situations without thinking much.When the fake misbah asked details about their courtship shaad made up a story.Jannat had different memories of her wearing the red sari and singing and wonders why hers and shaad's memories are different.Also when Shaad wanted to put a ring on her finger she felt wrong and ultimately dropped the ring.During the balloon therapy she said leave it Ahil and then promptly forgot.Shaad knows that there is a certain Ahil in jannat's life.He is simply deluding imself.Maybe he asked for the closure of her file so she could remain in pak forever.

And thanks for summing up Rehaan so beautifully. Agree with what U wrote on Shaad too. It is more like a crush he is obsessing over.

thanx soup.😳I found rehan the best character in season2so i always write about him.He did'nt succumb to negativity.He realized his mistake of letting seher go and mended with her.He did'nt want to take Seher as he did'nt want to leave Sanam alone.

Shaad likes jannat as she is caring but he wants to know the secret of SK so he is playing along and he has developed feelings for her.
