Yogesh Rawat breaks silence on Akanksha Choudhary fallout after Ruru's entry: 'Pyaar toh nhi boluga mai....'

Reality show Splitsvilla contestant Yogesh Rawat has addressed the ongoing controversy surrounding his equation with Ruru Thakur and Akanksha Choudhary. The situation escalated after Ruru entered the current season as a wild card contestant, triggering strong reactions online.

Following her entry, Yogesh faced backlash from viewers who accused him of being unfair to Akanksha. The criticism reflected on his social media as well, where he reportedly saw a drop in followers. Responding to the situation, Yogesh shared a detailed video on his YouTube channel, explaining his actions and reacting to the trolling he has been receiving.

Addressing a clip where he appeared to laugh during a tense moment, Yogesh said, “In such a situation, I don’t what to do other than laugh.” He admitted that he was “confused as f**k” when he first saw Ruru inside the villa. He clarified that before hugging Akanksha, he had taken her permission. According to him, his intention behind approaching Ruru was to make her feel comfortable, as she was new to the environment.

He also responded to questions about wearing an earring gifted by Ruru. Yogesh explained that it was not an emotional decision and that he often wears accessories without attaching meaning to them. He maintained that his actions were not driven by any attempt to send signals.

In the same video, Yogesh appeared to question the show’s makers, stating, “TRP ke liye ye cheez kar sakte hain ye log (makers), jab Splitsvilla chalu hua tha tab bhi maine confirmation li thi ki tumlog kahi mere sath ye ex wala scene to nahi karoge.” He further claimed he was assured otherwise and recalled being told, “Tune kabhi dekha hai ki koi 2 season ek sath kare.”

Amid the criticism, Yogesh said he understands why viewers are upset, calling their anger “justified.” At the same time, he insisted he never intended to hurt anyone. Reflecting on his feelings, he admitted that seeing Ruru again brought back unresolved emotions.

He also shared a message on instagram directed at Akanksha, saying, “Baaki Jo show pr tha Pyaar toh nhi boluga mai pasand the hum ek dusre ko Attachment thi jo Maine hurt kiya uske liye mai sorry tha Sorry Hu aur rahunga.” He acknowledged that he had hurt her and said he continues to feel guilty about it.
