Today MK gave one of the most profound message why evil wins over good. Evil is always united. They need each other to bury secrets and thus they stand together to bury secrets also. Whereas good on most occasions they stand by their beliefs, their ideals and does not easily come together.
Today in the dying moment when Dadi says to Rudra follow Shiva's path it was her bitter realization too late in the game. If she had believed at least one ounce of her son's theory, if she had given a chance to Shiva things wouldnt have come this far.

Shiva wouldnt have been alone, his family could have become his strength, his support system. If Dadi had not blamed Shiva and didnt go about her theory of parivaar is Amrit, Rudra wouldnt have this blind. If she had let go of her ego and steadfastness a bit things would have been better.

Coming to Shiva if instead of Amrit if he had concentrated on people, put some effort in putting his foot down and asking Dadi and other non-Garuds to move away from Mahakumbh knowing the dangers things would have been better. if he had put his foot down and become a little stern with Rudra using his power as his father things would have been better. Dadi held things tightly, Shiva was way too lenient and they standing at both corners made Rudra weak too.

And this clash of ideals is the real reason Brahma Nisth Panth is in this condition today. it is a message for every family, wherever clash of ideals is happening. Old has to give way to new. New has to be accepted in the right sense. Change has to happen, else niyati will destroy those families to bring about the change.

Great post! I have to commend UN and his team for creating such real characters which are a rarity on Indian TV.

i have said that dadi will realise that shivaa is right, but, it would be very late. i was right, and i am very sad for that. the attack was so devestatious, if the garudas were togather and prepaired , they would have thwarted the nagas. but alas, they were not.

yes Arjith. I had also put long ago in Shyamaladi's post. Her realization will be like that of Satyavati in MB. Too late when matters have gone out of hand. Only thing was I didn't expect her to die this brutally and in the last gasp realize the folly of her actions.

@shrutiravi - Great post! So true its easier for the negatives force to unite than uniting the positive forces. Where the negatives forces see their gain in uniting the positive forces are separated by their righteousness. Each believe their way is the right way.

Only ifs are left. IF Daadi had understood Shiva and guided Rudra on his mission. If Shiva instead of being only respectful had also tried harder with his limited time to make the other Garuds aware. If only Prof. Rao and Tiwari had taken some definite measures rather than wholly depending on Shiva.

I have realized one thing niyati gives lots of opportunities in life to learn what you need to and do what you need to. When you do not take the timely interventions then she takes the matter in her own hands and it comes back to you multiple folds harder.

@Kitsin niyati always gives you choices. The choices will be difficult, but then if you don't take the difficult choice most probably niyati will force you to take that choice in the most brutal manner.
I don't know whether you have seen MB in Starplus. One of the most beautiful moments of the war was where Krishna confronts Bheeshma, Drona and Karna asking them some questions and humbles them. When they say situation forced, he asks adhering to dharma is rising above situation, take the best out of every situation.
To Bheeshma he says his crime was not taking the right decisions and in name of the pledge listening and doing all the adharma said by others. He says man is responsible for his actions. If no has to be said it has to be said, you cant say someone forced me to do it or I was tied by pledge so I need to do this adharma
To Drona he asks what values did he give his son. If his son goes his duty over. He wanted his son to be proud of him, but a good parent should be such that they should be proud of their ward.
To Karna he asks what he has done to the upliftment of people in his community. He had special talents. instead of surrendering those talents to Duri and end up in a nonexistent enemity with Arjuna he would have used his talent to the upliftment of the community. Yes what happened to him was wrong, but taking Duri's side was not the answer to it.
Everyone is responsible for his or her actions and I would always say if it is a battle of head and heart. Listen to heart. It never lies and it can show you the right path also if you listen to it closely. And I have many personal experiences where I have chosen heart over head and followed its path to reach the success.

@ shrutiravi - I dont watch serials as such. After a long time was drawn towards MK as it was different. Indian mythology and folklore has always fascinated me. They teach us a lot if we care to learn. Have not watched MB on Starplus but I have read many variations of MB.

You are right, every individual has choices, how do you act on them is what matters. Even I have made choices following head over heart and later realized that heart was right. Later to take action on those choices and correct them is what matters. The thing you learn from this is that only the individual is responsible for their choices and cannot blame others for it, circumstances not withstanding and only they themselves can rectify it.

Thanks for the post Shruti...👏
This week I have enjoyed IF posts by you, Shyamala and Arshi much more than the show itself...

Even more than the story or the violence, I found the style and depiction lacking this week. Other than a few scenes it was an unmitigated disaster for me.

Hope this is a mid-point stutter as the gears change, and Mr Babbal & Mr Naithani will soon be back in good form again!

p.s. I will miss both Punnu and Dadi.

@Subha this week in MK was simply gore. Mindless murders and a awara majnu Rudra watching whom you feel pity and anger.
Only some scenes were worth mentioning and rest well less said the better. Hope from next week we get some real action. What with Maya memsaab moved from the scene.
