thread 2 ss: BETRAYED (ON HOLD)

The bus journey continued with Jodha still sleeping

peacefully on Jalal's shoulder, unknown to the fact that Jalal was looking at
her without a blink. Seeing her this close he couldn't help but reminisce their
old days...


*****Flashback*****

Jodha was walking in the corridor when suddenly someone pulled her in an empty

classroom. She got scared and was about to scream... when Jalal kept his hand
on her mouth and whispered "Shhh...it's me" As he whispered, he
nibbled her ear slightly. Then removing his hand from her mouth he started
giving her open mouth wet kisses on her nape sensually.


"Jalal" moaned Jodha sensually, as she started losing herself in his
passion.


"Jodha..." replied Jalal in equally sensual tone.


Her lips curved with hint of smile and her eyes were closed giving Jalal
permission to continue further. "Hmm" Jalal hummed while continuing
his act of pleasure, he traced her

face with his thumb halting at her slightly parted lips. She slowly opened her

eyes and gazed into his desire filled eyes, Jalal really wanted to taste her
sweet juicy lips, he slowly started descending towards her lips. Just when he
was about to take her juicy lips in his mouth, the ring on Jodha's phone broke
their romantic moment "Arrgghhh...I am gonna

kill who ever this is" groaned Jalal followed by Jodha's giggles.


"Hello" said Jodha picking up her phone while she passed a flying
kiss to Jalal who was clearly in a mood to kill someone right then.


"Jo where are you? Do u know what time it is?? You are going to be late
for work!!" hissed Moti from the other end of the phone.


Hearing this from Moti Jodha suddenly panicked "Oh no, I almost forgot. Ok
ok i am leaving right now, see you in 15 min. Bye!!" then she disconnected
the call hurriedly.


"What happened? And who was on the phone?" Jalal worriedly asked.


"It was Moti... she is waiting for me... I am late for the work... I gotta
go...bye... Love you. Byee" giving him a quick kiss on his cheek she
hurriedly left from there leaving behind a sad Jalal.

At the Cafe


"Tring" the sound of the bell announced the arrival of another
customer in her cafe and as per her usual routine a polite courteous smile came
on Mrs. Mehta lips, it was her signature polite courteous smile which she has
learned to welcome her customers in all these years that she had worked. She
still remembers how hard it was to open their own cafe...Even after opening the
cafe they still had to struggle a lot to keep it going with the fast evolving
taste and likes of people. And even now she always has to come up with creative
ideas to survive in the competition where people prefer branded, famous and big
cafes rather than her non branded, less famous and small cafe. But with the
grace of god and their honesty, hard work and friendly welcoming behaviour,
their cafe is still running smoothly inspite of all the competitors. Even
though her cafe was small but still it was one of those cozy comfortable and
modern places where one will love to spend her or his time.


Mrs. Mehta was on the counter lost in her thoughts when one of her known
regular customer came to her and wished her "Hello Mrs. Mehta!!! How are
you doing? "


She replied her in her most cheerful and polite manner as she always does. They
both chit chatted about their daily life and more and well then there was no
stopping them and as the conversation continued they both were almost lost in
it talking about anything under the sun.

Jodha came out of her taxi and looked at her watch and exclaimed "Oh my
god I am so late today." As she entered the cafe Moti angrily stared at
her as if she would kill her for this.


Jodha mouthed a sorry to her and swiftly headed towards the changing room to
change her attire with the one she wears at her job.


Jodha was about to turn towards the changing room when she collided with
someone.

"Watch your steps young lady" replied an amused Mr Mehta.


Jodha looked up and said in apologetic tone "Sorry" and in return she
got a lovely smile from him


" Ahh! Don't be sorry my dear... you are only following your father's
footstep? Do you know when we both were in the college he was always in hurry for one thing or other bumping into every second person thats why people in college try to stay out of his way when ever they saw him coming their way...u know precaution is better then cure"only to hear giggle from Jodha.


Mr. Mehta and her dad were friends from as long as she can remember. Mehta's
were like her second family, she had known them all her life... even when she
was in shimla, they used to visit each other during every vacation. They had
always loved Jodha as their own daughter. After her parents death they were her
only emotional pillar though she had her uncle and aunt with her (technically
her parents now, as her uncle has adopted her) but she knew that her aunt does
not like her and the reason for which is only known to her... while her uncle
loved her a lot which she could see in his eyes. But he was a busy man and he
hardly had time for anything else, so ya! She wouldn't be wrong if she said
mehta's were her only family left now after the death of her parents. That's
the reason she spent all her time here with them. Even all her friends met her
here only outside of college. She doesn't recall any of her friends or Jalal
ever coming at her place to meet her, they would always come to the cafe to be
with her or their den where they all spend time together.


Jodha and Mr.Mehta were still laughing on what Mr.Mehta said about Jodha's
father when

they heard Mrs.Mehta's voice "Here you both are laughing over your jokes
and

there I was going crazy with the amount of customers we have to handle."


Jodha and Mr.Mehta looked at each other and then at her and together they said
"Sorry

jaan" making Mrs.Mehta blush and say "dhutt"


"Acha you both carry on ur romance I have work to do " said Jodha
giggling as she turned to go.

After 10 minutes as Jodha was serving people in the cafe someone called out to
her "hey Jodha "


Jodha look up hearing the familiar voice only to find Jalal giving her one of
his brightest

smile and behind him was their gang.


"Hi! What...what are you guys doing here so

early" asked surprised Jodha.


"Oh! We were free so thought why not come here and hang out... you know
the waitress over here is really very beautiful" replied

Jalal making Jodha's cheeks go all red and ruku's green .


"I agree" said abdul giving Jodha love sick puppy look.


"Ignore them Jodha" replied salima while giving Jodha a hug and they
all sat down at their usual place in the cafe.


Jodha asked what they want to have and they all placed their orders and started
chatting about their usually stuff, cracking jokes, pulling each other's legs
and off course troubling Jodha and Moti.


After a while Jodha came with their orders and placed them on the table while
Jalal followed her with his eyes, never leaving her even for a moment and she
knew it very well.


After a while Jalal noticed that she was not paying any attention towards him
and chatting with others he faked a cough

to get her attention. When she extended a glass of water towards him instead of
holding the glass he held her hand with which she was holding the glass and
started drinking the water while winking at Jodha.


His gesture made her gasp as realization dawned upon her that he did it
intentionally. She looked at him in fake anger at first then smiled shyly.


As they were busy with each other Ruqaiya was noticing this act of theirs and
it didn't go well with her. She felt jealous of their closeness.


After spending some more time in the cafe they all left, leaving behind Jodha n
Moti to wrap up as it was already 7 pm, which meant their working hour was up.
So after changing they went to Mrs and Mr Mehta's house and made dinner. As
they completed making the dinner they heard Mehtas enter the house.


All four of them had their dinner together and then they retired for the day.

At the hotel


After talking with her partner in crime, Ruqaiya felt a bit relaxed and went to
take a shower to calm herself even more. Now all she wanted was to get some
sleep and rejuvenate herself so she can fulfill her plans to keep Jalal away
from Jodha.

But right now all she could do was wait for them to reach

the picnic place, she wanted them to come soon as she couldn't afford them
spending time together and getting closer again. "Arrrgghh agar mujhe pata
hota ki meri chaal mujhpe hi ulti pad jayegi toh mein kabhi Jodha ko bathroom
mein lock nahin karti.." said a
frustrated Ruqaiya banging her hand on the wall of the bathroom.

After the much needed shower Ruqaiya came out of the

bathroom and changed in her night wear to sleep. As she climbed the bed she
picked her phone up and started checking the messages. While scrolling down the
messages she came across a message which took her to the day which was the
beginning of her journey to end Jodha and Jalal's relationship.

**flashback starts**

Ruqaiya was walking back and forth in her room trying to think of a plan to separate
Jodha and Jalal so she can get her Jalal back to herself.


Yes it was true that she was the one who made them come close to each other but

she never knew that seeing Jalal in someone else's arms will rip her heart out.
She tried to ignore this feeling but every time she saw Jalal caring for Jodha
or flirting with her it just made her go green with jealousy . She realized
that Jalal was not just a friend to her he was much more and now she wanted him
back by hook or by crook. But no matter how much ever she tried to separate
them she never succeed. That is why now she had to think something of bigger
and better to separate them.


As Ruqaiya was lost in her thoughts she heard her phone ringing up with the msg
tone, she checked the msg but got confused reading it 'I KNOW THE SOLUTION OF
YOUR PROBLEM AND IF U WANT TO KNOW IT COME TO CENTRAL PARK TODAY IN ONE HOUR'

'Who can send me this msg??' She thought to herself.
