PART 16 : BREAKING OF THE BARRAGE

"nahi vul sakta ki maine tumhe galat samjha... ki maine tumhare pyaar...tumhare intension pe doubt kiya... Even for a second I thought that you could hurt rey taani... even for a second I thought that you could be with someone else leaving me..." he choked and sat down on the floor leaning on the bed with tears streaming down his cheeks...

Sharon stood there shocked seeing swayam break down in front of her... it was the first time she had managed to bring all the piled up emotion from within him...

"mai nahi vul sakta that I forced you to marry me... I called you characterless... I said on your face that I hate you...i told you that I was with some other girl..." his voice turned into a whisper as he closed his eyes letting more tears shed... Sharon sat in front of him on the floor holding his hands but before she could say something she heard him mutter...

"I came home drunk... I was vulnerable... And apne insecurities... Apne pareshani vulne ke liye I loved you... I took advantage of you... And fir...apne galati tumper daal diya... I had the guts to say that you did everything for physical intimacy..." he gritted his teeth flinching at his own words...

"I don't deserve to live..." he buried his face in his kness crying his heart out with an equally crying Sharon heart broken to see her swayam like this...

Sharon immediately came forward and held his hands...both sitting on the floor and crying their heart out...

"haa... I can't believe swayam... tum itna selfish ho... you don't deserve to live right???? Aur mera kya??? Tumne ek bar bhi socha agar tumhe kuch ho gaya... To mera kya hoga???? Do you realize tumhe is tarah dekh ke mujhe kaisi feeling hoti hai..." Sharon shook his shoulder and swayam looked at him blinking his eyes...

"nahi honi chahiye..." He whispered... " you should not sympathize with me..." His voice went hard and hollow...

"ohh... Right... tum badal gaye ho... tumhe ye sab sympathy lagti hai???? Mujhe ek baat batao tumhare liye rule kuch aur mere liye kuch aur kyun????" Sharon wiped her tears...

Swayam stared at her eyes trying to decipher what they were speaking...

"jab jab...the dazzler Sharon rai prakash ne weakling swayam shekhawat ko hurt kiya did he give up on her?????jab jab uss larki ne tumhe desperate kaha , loser kaha , stalker kaha kya swayam ke dil se uss larki ke liye pyaar mit gaya?????? Bolo swayam?????" Sharon stood up shouting her lungs out...

Swayam was too shocked to reply... He never even in his wildest nightmare thought that Sharon would react this way...

On the other hand , after seeing swayam breakdown... Sharon understood that her easy loving way of making him understand her would not work...with each passing minute swayam was slipping away from her ...

"jab jab uss larki ne swayam ko reject kiya???? Use hurt kiya???? Pure college k samne ... Saare friends k samne insult kiya tab kya swayam ne akela chor diya...???? jab uss larki ko asthma hua... Unko dance chorna para... usne jaan buchke swayam ko usse dur bhej ne koshish ki... koshish ki that he moves on with someone else..." she breathed... "someone better than her... did he buy her lies???? Did he leave her alone?????? Usne man liya kya uske jhoot ko sach ????? chor diya kya uska saath swayam ne????? did he move on??????" she turned to look at him and screamed...

Swayam has already stood up... He was about to move forward to calm her down... but Sharon stopped him showing her palm...

"iss duniya ki kisi bhi larki usse better hai... But swayam chose her... he chose her anger when he could have got a girl who was nice and soft spoken... swayam chose the impulsive girl when he could have got a calm and sober girl... swayam chose her clumsiness childishness when he could have got a matured and independent girl..." she closed her eyes allowing the tears to flow down her cheeks...

"jab swayam ne nahi kiya... To mai kyun karun?????" she came forward asking him with accusing eyes...

"tumhe kya lagta hai mr swayam shekhawat???? Ki tum perfect ho??? Ki tum flawless ho???? Ki tumse kabhi koi galati nahi hoga??? Aur ek baar ho gaya to sabse khud ko dur kar doge...?????"

Meanwhile rey and taani had come and were standing at the door ...they had heard Sharon scream and immediately came to check...

"chup kyun ho??? Answer do mujhe????" Sharon shouted shaking swayam by his collar...

"Sharon... Sharon... choro...leave him...calm down..." Rey rushed in and held sharon's hand trying to pull her away from swayam... Sharon immediately protested vigorously trying to make rey move away...

"nahi rey,... aaj mujhe isse jawab chahiye...jawab do mujhe swayam..." She screamed again... swayam was too shocked to move... he had never seen her like this before... so desperate... so angry... Taani came and hugged Sharon tightly...

"calm down bhabi...calm down..please... hum baat karte hai na...kal subah aram se baith ke baat karte hai..." Taani tried to calm her...

"nahi...koi fayda nahi... Baat karke koi fayda nahi... Isne decision le liya... He doesn't want me..." Her voice was by now a choking whisper... "he doesn't need me now..." She hugged taani tighter...

Swayam was shocked to hear this... did his guilt made her feel that he didn't want her??? hell... No... he needed her in every breathe of his life but he didn't find himself deserving for that...

"Sharon..." swayam moved forward to speak...

"bhai...rehene do...kal subah freshly baat karte hai... abhi I don't think it's a nice idea...she is not in the right frame of mind..." Taani gave swayam a reassuring smile...

"bhai nahi hai tumhara... Tumhara bhai mujhe samjhta tha... Wo kahi kho gaya hai..." she managed to whisper falling on her knees on the floor...

Swayam was standing rooted to the spot...

"rey...bhai...tum log jao... So jao... Rey le jao bhai ko..." Taani knelt beside Sharon holding her shoulder ...

Rey pulled swayam out of the room...he stopped near the door looking back at Sharon and got a nod from taani reassuring him that she will take care of her heart...
