She's still doing karan's film n he is the the last director we wud expect to cast her. While Adi chopra is her mentor..even back then in Rab ne, he didn't cast anushka for her looks, he told her she wud have to act well...but YRF have ignored her past few years so don't know

Tbh I don't think Anushka-Salman jodi would work. They look weird together. Plus she has never expressed any interest to work with him.

I would have thought that now the top actresses would be wary of doing big ticket Khan films one after the other for it has not really done much for both Katrina and Kareena.

I also feel that the industry and the audiences have become a lot more unforgiving to actresses. Today I don't think it's enough just to do 100-200 crore films with superstars and expect to survive. Now we expect actresses give good performances as well. For example: Alia's good performance in Highway + 100 crore 2 States + Hit HSKD = Being offered the best films.

So if today's actresses want longevity, they need to balance box office alongside good performances. Focusing only big ticket films looks like career suicide to me.
