The time has come to bid our adieus.
I was standing at the podium. Waiting...
This would soon be over. All the memories just flashed back. As if a deck of cards was being waved in front of my eyes , in order by some magician.
Surprisingly all were clear , and each had a story to narrate. Opening thousand knotted heartstrings and all the feels just slip out of the tight grip it had been held by , feeling the freedom and filling my heart.
The first scene : Saras in that lake and Kumud in that Pond
The second scene : Saras with the letter and Kumud crying after reading what he had sent.
The third scene : saras at the mansion.
The fourth scene : Kumud's hatt of not showing her face
The fifth scene : their hand hold !
The sixth scene : the kite tutorial
The seventh scene : Their first eye lock
The eighth scene : The gau hatya's blame, which had been thrusted on Saras.
The ninth scene : The pots !
The tenth scene : Saras deciding to leave and kumud unable to open her heart out.
The eleventh scene : The promise that kumud made to dugba
The twelfth scene : The confession !
The thirteenth scene : haldi !
The fourteenth scene : The marriage proposal !
The fifteenth scene : genda phool
The sixteenth scene : The promise before the engagement.
The seventeenth scene : The white odhni that was promised to be coloured soon enough.
The eighteenth scene : The denial and break down.
The nineteenth scene : Marriage with pramad
The twentieth scene : Saras getting beaten and thrown away by a road side by umesh and gang.
The twenty first scene : The revival near the yagna
The twenty second scene : The pain of separation and yet being under the same roof
The twenty third scene : divorce
The twenty fourth scene : kusum and her melodrama
The twenty fifth scene : kusum's marriage to Danny
The twenty sixth scene: Saras doing a lot of papad belling and then the reunion of Samud
The twenty seventh scene : Moti and Masti !
The twenty eighth scene : Samud marriage !
The twenty ninth scene : Kabir ki khojh
The thirtieth scene : Mumbai main taro ke neeche.
My chain of thoughts got broken by the whistle ...!! The train was now about to get emptied...
Suddenly those jenam intervies , samud under the stars , after that fight with Prashant , when they heard that kumud was pregnant , when saraswati maa blessed samud , when saras had cut his hand and kumud was putting ointment , the scenes with the lantern , samud while praying , when saras asked kumud to signal him by leaving the hall that he was not forgiven , when kumud got kidnapped. When she shoed away while he applied haldi on her face ... All these memories resurfaced within a fraction of a second.
I had to blink my eyes to get away from them for some time and be left with my solitude to think. Think. about jenam. Again.
Perhaps this was the last we saw Jenam. They may not meet each other for years after this, but They will always be shipped. By me.
Soon all the passengers were down, some teary eyed, while others blankly staring into space.
It was time, to let the thought sink in , that , all was over. Now, this very second. It was time to say our good bye's,
Then I realised. If all the passengers are down then whom are we bidding bye to ? It then came to me , that
Samud and Jenam did not have the ticket and hence they were not leaving. It was us ! We were going to leave and not them !
What if we don't want to leave? Its just that we are forced to as we have only one return ticket, of saturday. The rest tickets are way too sudden to adapt with , so its either leave this saturday or never.
I am not leaving. Samud and Jenam will live on in my heart, and if for that I need to stay back. keep them here , for always , I will.
Soon all was a haze as I had just torn of my ticket amd headed back home. Samud ( Jenam ) the entire SC Fandom by me.
