Deepali didnt now where she made mistake?

When Anu Malik criticized Deepali she said 'I dont know where I made mistake'. I think this is arrogant attitude.

On other hand when Puja was criticized she took is positive and said she will improve. Much better/humble..

i really dont see deepali as an arrogant personality...she is very down to
earth

i just think that sometimes singers themselves know when they have gone
wrong, like puja, and at other times they dont and someone else feels they
went a little off sur or watever

plus in puja's case, she didnt sing the whole song well at all so it was easy
for her to know that but deepali sang really well and so it was hard to
pinpoint the exact place anu malek was talking abt

atleast she was being honest...if she had said it in a different way, it wouldve sounded arrogent..but she stated that in a sincere way and later she even said that she would try to correct herself and make sure it wouldnt happen again...
i donno how anyone could construe that as arrogance...please dont try to open a topic just for the sake of instigating something against a contestant

I disagree with your notion because its quite simplistic. Puja is just one example but others that come to my mind are Smitha, Amit, Prashant and Charu as well. When Smitha and Amit were criticized by Udit, Prashant and Charu by Javed, all of them remained either quiet or nodded to accept their mistake and didnt say anything 'against' the judges.

Deepali is taking things a bit too easy. She thins that she is the cutest of all females and the best singer as well so she 'cannot be criticized'. That she is above them all.

If a senior judge and a big music director like Anu thinks her singing/performance was overall not upto II standards, she she listen quietly and try to improve. Not indulge in one-on-one discussion with the judges.

well..i thot deepali sang like ok,not as good as she always is....and deepali didnt say tht she was not wrong.she just told tht she didnt know wht her mistake was..and she would try to improve.now thts fair enough.anu thot she was arrogant...but whts wrong in asking ur teacher wht ur fault is?? 😕

she has done that before when the comment from the judge made sense...remember how javed saab used to always correct her because she had a breathing problem...she did that, she corrected herself and sang nisha so well...well, anus remark didnt even make sense, half of us on IF were confused by his statement, one second he said she was out of sur, the next it was dead singing...i donno how anyone wont be confused by anus statement

ok..the judges pointed out tht charu was off key in the whole song...parleen concentrated on his performance..etc etc...but wht was the fault tht anu had pointed out in deepali in the beginning??????he just said he didnt like her.he didnt say whts her mistake.

Not only Deepali..even I dont know where exactly she made a mistake! 😕 😳 I dont think she was arrogantat all!!Actually, Anu Malik wasnt clear in defining her mistake! I mean..sometimes he said she was off-key...then he said he wasnt talking about sur,Deepali didnt hav any presentation...then he said it was dead singing!!!!! 😕When I can b so confused..tou Deepali kitni confused hogi!! After all, she was the one who sang the song!

Deepali WAS offkey in the mukhra. Anu is right. Listen very carefully..

1. When Deepali said 'Luka Chappi, bahut hui, samnay aaja naa'.. her voice was shaking and basically her lai was missing. This is what you call an off-key note.

2. Deepali did not give an eye-opening performance. Her was supposed to be the first act of the Indian Idol. She was supposed to rock us all and sing her heart out. Instead she gave a very flat performance.

I completely agree with Anu on this one. Although I disagree with Anu on other points specially when he criticized Puja because I think he should have been better with Puja and said some +ve things about her.
