Deepali simply didnt get the crowd or a great musci director involved. She was offkey in the mukhra as well. Yes the only think that Anu couldve said was that Antara was not that bad. But all in all considering the fact that Deepali's passion was missing, I would completely agree with Anu.

What Deepali should've done is like Puja accept her mistake and said 'Sir, this song is very difficult and I was offkey a bit in the mukhra'. She knows it.

Actually she attacked Anu Malik and it was totally wrong on her part to ask this. If you have tried to learn music you would know that in music, GURU is everything. Your guru is always right. Never ever should you question your judge.

This is the cardinal rule of music and singing. Ask any professional singer like Karunya or Sandeep or Abhijeet Sawant. Never ever tell your guru I dont know where I went wrong.

well deepali is smart for raising that question😃 kudos deepali👏 atleast she has a brain and doesnt passively accept everything👏

i agree with tpam, anu is a confused judge at times and infact i think

If I could advise Deepali, I would say:

1. Don't start the round with yourself - let someone else do it.

2. Don't walk down the stairs in the badly lit stage while singing your song - it diverts your focus.

3. Pick songs that get the crowds going.

Subtle things that go a long way.......😉 I think all of the above contributed some what to her performance..

This is a first sensible post seem to be coming from a deepali fan. I like your #2 point that deepali might have lost her focus in the mukhra because she was walking in stairs from a dimly light place into the manj.

BUT,, then you look at Abhishek. Abhishek basically did the same thing with his song singing the mukhra 'dunia me, logo ne dil apne phir thaame.. aye hoon leker mein phir kitne hangame' at a dim lit stairs..

But Abhishek was flawless. This is mark of a brilliant singer.

u seem to not talk about her singing, rather u seem to focus on her personality....bad taste 🤢

well, then Joshiji....as majority of us including deepali herself didnt understand wat was wrong in her performance according to Anu Malik , so I think SONY should hire you to do the job of explaining his comments...It will b very good for all of us and the contestants too!!
