yha i have to agree, Anu malik ji didn't give a specific point at which Deepali went wrong, i don't think deepali is arrogant, she's very friendly with everyone and even went out of her way to comfort pooja after she messed up. True she didn't connect with the audience as much as she should have, instead of saying that Anu ji was trying to prove his point with extra force and when people were arguing with him i guess he got angry and lost the point altogether. If she asked him where she went wrong there's nothing wrong with that, she just wanted to know where she can correct her self, she asked it with a lot of respect and after that she said sorry as well.

tpam,
How can you say Anu Malik is a bad judge when he's there and you're not? Please dont be just anti-Anu for the sake of it and dont be jealous of him. He is the best judge in II3 in my humble opinion. And many others would agree with me.

I am not comparing. I am ONLY saying the Deepali must become humble if she wants to progress in II3. Otherwise she's another meenal jain in the making. She must show that she can take criticism positively. This is bollywood and one MUST be humble to survive.

1. When Deepali said 'Luka Chappi, bahut hui, samnay aaja naa'.. her voice was shaking and basically her lai was missing. This is what you call an off-key note.

2. Deepali did not give an eye-opening performance. Her was supposed to be the first act of the Indian Idol. She was supposed to rock us all and sing her heart out. Instead she gave a very flat performance.

I completely agree with Anu on this one. Although I disagree with Anu on other points specially when he criticized Puja because I think he should have been better with Puja and said some +ve things about her.

if anu ji had made his point as clearly as u just did then deepali would not need to ask the question. she did not ask it arogantly, she just wanted clarification because he did not clearly tell her what went wrong.

Don't worry Buddy..Anu appreciates Puja's talent and I am sure this week he will get praise from Anu .....😛

and though Anu gave good judgement in the 1st gala barring few comments he sometimes go overboard when other judges challenge him that's why he used that word " dead singing " in my opinion and confused Deepali in the process ...

On other hand when Puja was criticized she took is positive and said she will improve. Much better/humble..

I beg to differ - she politely sought her mistake - nothing wrong with that. It was a student asking her teacher as to where she went wrong !!

Rather, I would say, the silence of the teacher spoke a lot about the teacher. Why did'nt AM answer that? Or did he even have an answer to that ......

Anyway, me thinks AM was trying to humble (deflate Deepali) and all her fans. Good timing, AM, she and we all needed that at this time of the game. Now watch how will she springs back. She is talented, dedicated, hard working and focussed - she has the knock out punch !! Watch out AM - you asked for it and you will get it !!

By 'dead singing', Anu only meant that deepali didnt have the passion or the emotion needed for this song. If you remember Anu, after Parleen's performance, said that Deepali sang better than parleen but becoz parleen got the crowd into him, he deserves better marks.

Deepali simply didnt get the crowd or a great musci director involved. She was offkey in the mukhra as well. Yes the only think that Anu couldve said was that Antara was not that bad. But all in all considering the fact that Deepali's passion was missing, I would completely agree with Anu.

What Deepali should've done is like Puja accept her mistake and said 'Sir, this song is very difficult and I was offkey a bit in the mukhra'. She knows it.

Actually she attacked Anu Malik and it was totally wrong on her part to ask this. If you have tried to learn music you would know that in music, GURU is everything. Your guru is always right. Never ever should you question your judge.

This is the cardinal rule of music and singing. Ask any professional singer like Karunya or Sandeep or Abhijeet Sawant. Never ever tell your guru I dont know where I went wrong.

so youre basing her attitude on that one comment she made about her performance? isnt that going a bit too far....what do u have against deepali that youre doing this? are u doing this because pujas popularity is not as high as hers, so u wanna bring her down...if thats the case, then this is just bad taste🤢
