They are and there is no doubt on that but even if p.k trailer releases with kick, there is nothing wrong with that. It's actually good that big stars are promoting each other movies.

The same happened with ETT and jthj trailer released with it (and that movie did not even have a title) as were yash raj products

Well if they are giving support, encouragement or are promoting each other movies. There is nothing wrong with that.

I don't know if it will benefit them or not but it won't cause harm to them in any way so there is nothing wrong with doing this. But again this might be a rumor.
