"Don't touch me"
Geet tried to move away from him as they walked inside the resturant like normal people. She hated his hand that was resting on her waist as he walked to her left side leading her in. Everytime she tried to remove his hand he would pull her back in, holding her even more tighter. Everyone that looked at them thought they were couples if only they knew what each real intentions were. It was a five start resturant that Maan chose himself to take her. Geet saw couple of arrogant business men having their lunch while discussing their office politics. Nothing pisses Geet more off then these shrewd business men who only look at everything from profit point of view. Nothing else matters to them.
The waiter led them to a table in a private room which was completely isolated from the rest of the restaurant. Maan pulls out a chair for Geet which she denies and sits on the other side of the table. Maan signals the waiter to leave them alone.
"So what do you think? I fulfilled my promise to see you in public?"
"I wouldn't call this public. You are still a coward doing everything while hiding away" (Geet remarks with a smirk. She could tell she was getting under his skin; must have big ego. I will use this weakness so that you keep making the same mistake. I got you to come open in public next I will make you confess everything. I am not as weak as you are Mr. Maan. Geet smiles at Man as he looks at her with anger)
"What did you say?"
"Mad? I just stated a fact to you. Truth is bitter you know"
"You know I like my prey. Usually people beg and cry for mercy but I gotta hand it to you for openly challenging me at every step of the way and loosing at it as well"
"I don't remember loosing at anything so far. In all reality, if anything, I won. You see, I got you come out in public, you showed your face to my assistant Tasha, you even accompanied me to lunch in public and you even told me your name. So where is the losing part come in?"
Geet leans back smirking at him while Maan was lost in his thoughts. She was right. He did all the things without thinking. He slowly gets up and stands before Geet. He holds her arm making her stand up while she tried to figure out what he is doing. He puts his hand behind her head pulling her tightly toward him and kisses her. Geet opens her eyes mad trying to push him away. His other free hand was digging through her back opening up her old scars. She wanted to scream in pain but couldn't. She tried to kick him in his private area when he quickly held her leg midway bringing it toward his hip, locking it in.
Now,she looked like she was throwing herself on him if anyone was to show up. He picks her up a little just until she was standing on her toes with her right leg while he kissed her all over. He could hear her whimper in pain but he chose to ignore it. He didn't care at that moment. Geet brought her hands behind his back trying to hit him but nothing was affecting him. She was stuck, literally and figuratively. After what seemed like forever to Geet he finally let go of her dropping her on the floor. Geet yelps in pain as she lands on the floor. While falling, her back hits the corner of the table making it bleed. She could feel the blood soaking through her shirt. She gets back up in anger and slaps him on the face.
"This is for kissing me" (She slaps him again) "And this is for playing your dirty tricks. I never hated anyone in my life before as much as I hate you." (Maan grabs her by the hair pulling her closer. He licks her lips to irriate her but who was he kidding..he somehow liked it. Geet struggled in his arms trying to be free but each time he just held her tighter and pulled her hair more to make her feel the pain.)
"Slapping me won't help..it will only make me angrier."
"Good...I like seeing you angry it brings out your true weakness. Do what you may, I don't care. I have learned to ignore people like you."
"You won't be able to ignore me soon. These slaps will cost you big time"
"Bring it on"
Geet smiles and walks away from the table. Her back was killing her but she wasn't going to show him her pain. She was strong and will fight till the end, no matter what. Maan looks at her as she walks away and notices blood stain on the back of her shirt. Did he do that? He could tell she was in pain but his ego stopped him from doing anything. Right now his ego was hurt and bruised with slaps and he could care less what happens to her. Maan orders couple of drinks as he sat on the table to get the image of her soaked bloodied t-shirt out of his head. Each time he drank, her image became more vivid and clear. What was happening to him? Why is he feeling so restless thinking about her injury? Maan places tip on the table before leaving the resturant. He needed to clear his head.
Geet sat in her car ignoring her pain. Right now her anger and hatered had taken over anything she might feel right now. Geet saw Maan leave from the resturant in anger. Just what she wanted. Already, she had three her guys following him; at every intersection they were going to drive with different cars to avoid any suspicion. If she knew Maan, she knew that he doesn't take any chance and he def. doesn't leave any clues around.
He is always watching his back. She knew he had a big ego, its his ego that allowed him to come in public by challenging him. Guys like him who hides behind their money and power always think they are invisible; its time to remove that invisible cloak from his eyes. She smiles as she begins to drive off. Every inch of her body wanted to follow him but she knew the time is not right. She just have to be patient and strike when its right; for now she was just glad to keep an eye on him through her followers.
