He, Who Came
"What happened Geet. Why did you scream like that?"
"Cockroach...bhaiya there is a bug there..help"
All the brothers, Abhay, Arjun and Arnav laugh out loud at her antics except for her father who just left the place quietly feeling very annoyed at her antics. Arjun picks her up in his arms twirling her around while Arjun and Abhay catch the cockroach. They hold it in front of her to show her there was nothing to be afraid of.
"Gudiya if you remain scared of everything then how will you face the world?"
"I don't need to face the world when you guys are here to protect me"
"We will be there no matter what gudiya to always protect you"
"Geet meeting in five minutes" Geet couldn't believe she was lost in her past again...why can't it stop haunting her? Today was a busy day, nothing was going right the way she wanted to be like. One of my client decided to give us a 24 hour deadline to come up with a new campaign ideas for his event. The deadline is not the problem, we have passed through harder times before and I know my team will fulfill the deadlines without any problems. The only problem is the client sent someone to micromanage my team. What the hell, this is not the first time we are doing this and I can't even tell them off if I do then I will loose my biggest client ever and right now my company needs the publicity and marketing opportunities to grow.
I had to bite my tounge and the client do whatever they wanted until this project is over. I have already thought of renewing contracts with them that will have out terms not theirs, well at least to certain extent. I wanted to keep myself busy on things that I had ignored for so long thanks to Maan. I can't let my company suffer because of some arrogant idiot who believes he is god. I will make that so called god fall down on earth. I had to focus on my work and what I stand for and that is bringing justice to women who have gone through the same sitatuations as I have. The rest of my morning was a blur between meetings and catching up on my emails.
"Ma'am someone is here to see you" (Tasha Geet's assistant)
"I don't have any appointments today. Tell the person to make an appointment and come back. I am very busy today"
"But ma'am I did and he insists. I don't know what to do"
"What do I pay you here for then if I have to tell you what to do?" (Geet yelled making her scared) "Let him wait outside for as long as he can. I will meet him when am done"
"Sure ma'am" (Once she was outside the man smiled at her while holding a bouquet) "sorry sir but you will have to wait..ma'am is busy"
"Hmm why don't you show her my card and am sure after seeing it she will be free"
"I can't...she is already in a bad mood. If you could wait couple of minutes am sure she will be free soon"
"Listen sweetheart" (He gives her a rose from the bouquet of flowers he was holding) "Am sure you could take one minute to do this for me...huh" (He smiled at her making her blush.she nodes her head taking ther card from his hand slowly) "thanks"
"umm ma'am...the guy gave me this card for you...he said that he will be right out when you are done"
"hmm just leave it on my desk..I have a meeting to go to right now...oh and make sure there are no appointments for the rest of the day for me. One more thing, while I am in the meeting, make copies of all the documents in this file, scan and save it on my computer. Also, when you save the document start making a presentation slide for our client that will be coming in tomorrow. I need to have that done today itself, stay late if you have too"
"ye yes ma'am"
Tasha quickly ran outside writting everything down before she forgets. Geet was a nice whenever staff was in need of help otherwise she was tough on her employees demanding only the best and made sure everyone was getting equal amount of work. The man saw the assistant girl running here and there trying to finish her job. He saw Geet coming out of her office wearing a full white sleeve formal shirt with a black pencil skirt that encenuated her figure quiet nicely. She had red heels with matching red lipstick on making her look like a sexy devil with her hair nicely currled back in a low pony tail. He quickly hid his face with the flower bouquets when she was close enough to him, for a moment she stopped trying to look at his face.
"Excuse me sir its better if you leave and come back when you make an appointment otherwise you will be wasting your time here"
"I already have an appointment with you..." (He removes the flower bouquet from his face as he stands up slowly. Geet looks at him shocked as he smiles at her) "We have a lunch date together remember? I thought I suprise you and show you what true hunter I really am"
"You..." (Geet looks around trying to control her anger in front of her employees who by the way were looking at her talking to a guy for this long) "How dare you come to my company like this?"
"ma'am sorry to intererpt but everyone is waiting for you" (Tasha announced)
"Hmm"
"go sweetheart..I will be right here waiting for you" (He comes closer to her under the pretense of handing her the flowers..) "You look quiet sexy today for this hunter" (He whispers in her ear, Geet pushes him away with the flower bouquet and walks away. Maan laughs as he walks toward her office room.) "She said I could wait inside" (he hands her another rose before closing the door behind him)
Geet sat in the meeting trying to pay attention to the topic. He was here. She couldn't believe that he has dared to come to her work like this. She will show him no one walks all over her like this. She is not some doormat to be taken advantage of like this. Geet quickly dimisses herself from the meeting to make a quick call.
"Hello he is here in my office. I want you guys to follow him after I am done. Don't mess this up" (Geet hands up with the phone with a smirk...She will win over him and show him what kind of looser he is. Geet walks back into the meeting just waiting for the clock to struck 12 for her lunch date)
