my only question is how will jalal know tht person whom jodha was meeting is sujamal until & unless jodha tells him??? he is trusting her to the core & repeatedly asking her the truth. how long will he tolerate yaar?? trust is gud, but blind trust is dangerous. then why jalal's blind trust on MA is questioned??? afterall maham also had saved his life, without caring about her life. but still we criticize jalal for trusting maham so much. why??? bcoz blind trust is always wrong. why cant we see the he had progressed a lot. he didnt believed maham's words, he is continuously thinking tht jodha cant do anything wrong but how long will he give time??? if jodha's own father blamed her for meeting suryabhan, who was her would be husband, at night , then why do we expect a 16th century husband to be so lenient??? why will jalal apologize when he is not wrong??? & in this case he is not wrong. infact, his fault is he didnt questioned jodha on the 1st night itself.

u r absolutely right
but well we cannot help it
jodha never thinks beyond one angle
or beyond one direction
similar to a race horse
where a cover is put on its eyes
she cannot see beyond a point
neither does she thinks of the after effects of her actions

Forget 16th century standards. Even today in the most non-conservative countries the President and the first lady are expected to uphold standards in words and behaviour.
Jo's meeting suja at night is not justified in any circumstances. Jalal's silence too is ridiculous. Even if jo were to meet bd or bharmal this way it is not correct. Even if jalal comes to know that jo met her brother, why should he weep or apologize? (Though these cvs will make him😡).

Jo's meeting shariffu itself was ridiculous. The ends always don't justify the means. Anyway his info didn't help much. It was jodha' s witnessing ben kiss the snake that led to her suspecting ben and saving jalal.

By meeting a person who has attacked the king's territory and killing his relatives itself is a crime as per law. more so if u r the queen. If saving jalal now is her prime concern she MUST tell him the whole truth. Here the sister is eclipsing the queen.

Mandy, completely agree with you both.
It would not be good for a emperor to apologies for asking a question?
If she doesnt open her mouth and for that she is being sent to Amer/Jungle. then its her blunder and let me face it.
But later if Jalal asks her sorry, then it doesnt make any sense.
This would be one typical Saas-bahu serial but not an historical one.
But we have to remember, this is Ekta's serial and heroine can never be wrong. They are almost next to god. And i hate this attitude

Hi Adi,
I agree with what u say. Definitely, Akbar won't be wrong to send her away. In fact he could have sent her away much earlier when:

1. she attacked him with a dagger
2. she didn't consummate the marriage
3. she was accused of aborting Ruq's baby - there was no need to investigate further
4. she removed the bullets from his rifle
5. she met SD in prison without the king's permission
6. she gave him that Push

But why does the rule apply only to Jodha? Why not Ruq? When it was clearly exposed in the Ben track that Ruq had deliberately pushed the Jalal-Ben marriage to humiliate Jodha, and had endangered Jalal's life, why wasn't this principle invoked then to send her away to Kabul?

Why did Jalal continue to keep BB in the palace even if he didn't meet her instead of sending her away from his kingdom for maligning the Mughal honour?

Historically it has been seen that Akbar continually forgave many offenders, many of them his close associates or relatives, without applying this principle to them. So why single out only Jodha for portraying Mughal justice?

Dear Radhika pls understand my post. I have stated that those associated with the powerful should not even be open to any kind of suspicion or finger pointing - Caesar's wife should be above suspicion - being the analogy.

If you put your mind to the aspect that how the close relatives (wives and children) of those in power are always under the scanner for every behaviour of theirs - case in point the British Monarchy - becoz their behaviour does tend to set norms and ppl do tend to quote them to support their own behaviour - Rama also sent Sita to the forest - not becoz he doubted her but becoz as King his every action can be taken as the license for a particular behaviour by his people. The same norms apply to the Emperor and his family - and the ones who get counted in the family are his parent(s), his wives, his own siblings and his kids. And TE has not spared either sister or wife on these grounds.

All I have pointed toward is how those associated with a ruler have to always be above suspicion.

All those people who feel that Jalal should apologize, I want to ask them a simple question. If they were to see their husband's or boyfriends talking with another woman in the middle of the night how will be their reactions? Its easy to point a finger on another when the matter doesnt concerne you.

I will be pissed off with the CVs if they will make Jalal apologize, I know thats how its going to be.

So true...
If my husband even saw a sms from an unknown number which sounded rather 'too' friendly, he would ask me with raised brown no less who is this friendly person. And we only have to set examples for our kids.
This is the emperor and his wife...in 16th century. They lived by the code of conduct which was not easily bent for anyone sake.
Ai...if Jalal feels he need to soak our TV with his tears, he can choose other things to cry about. Maybe he can cry that Maham fed him wrong he ended up rather short, whilst AK ended up shooting up high? OR he can definitely cry for all the wasted money he pays as salary to his spies and guards...a mere fake beard is enough for Suja and black blanket is enough for Jodha.
He doesn't have to do another weepy 'I am sorry' scene again. Why apologize for misunderstanding someone who gave you no room to understand them correctly in the first place?
