Hi all, this will be my last post on the current fracas.

There is a very interesting Proverb - Caesar's wife must be above suspicion - This actually means 'the associates of public figures must not even be suspected of wrongdoing.' (The ancient Roman Julius Caesar is supposed to have said this when asked why he divorced his wife, Pompeia. Because she was suspected of some wrongdoing, he could not associate with her anymore.) It is for this reason that Rama is supposed to have first asked for the Agni pariksha from Sita and later sent Sita to the forest.

In the current situation where the man Jodha is meeting is 'an unknown stranger' and since she is also refusing to divulge his identity, if the public question where does TE stand? Is not Jodha putting TE on the spot by her behavior? If her own father and brothers could not countenance her night boat ride with her fiance and deemed that unseemly, how is this supposed to be looked upon as???? And let us not argue that she is meeting her brother since this is a fact known only to her and MA and neither is telling, each for their own reasons. If under such circumstances TE tells Jodha to leave Agra and return to Amer (since Jodha is refusing to speak up for whatever reasons) how is he in the wrong and how does it become his duty to apologise and Jodha's right to 'Not forgive him'?????

As I have said - "Caeser's wife has to be above suspicion" and this stands true even today!!!

adi, this is ekta's show and deviji is mahaan! i am upset why the shahenshah of hindustan did not take any action and here some forum waasis r saying the opposite that jodha should not forgive him..even in today's time and age if a husband sees his wife sneaking out in the middle of the night meeting a stranger he would either kill both or at least kill the stranger!..and here we r talking about the king to apologize to his wife for suspecting her?????,,,now why could not she tell him indirectly what she is up to, and calm him down..first she is breaking the law and second she is not understanding jalal's pain..she is not doing any wifely duties here..jalal does not need a bodyguard he needs a wife a lover!!!...and i highly doubt if the real jodha would have been even close to this faulty display of the mughal queen and a rajput princess!

Jalal is not wrong...Jodha is also not wrong as she knows that she is bound by promise

Mandy forget husband wife. This is the ruler and his family that we are talking about and the people even today expect moral and ethical behavior from those in positions of power. Is that not what the whole civil movement in India today all about??????

In fact even the hardcore Jodha supporters shd be upset by her behavior as it puts her under the light of suspicion and as the Queen her every action has to be above question since it sets the norm for the people!!!

Pls do not say this is ur last post for this track, coz after reading the recent spoilers it is kinda confirmed that TE is gonna be acting like the gunahgaar again and the CVs will find different ways to degrade his character before the track ends. So you have to write so that we can at least have somewhere to vent out our frustrations

This proverb might hold true for every other public figure but not for our reel Jodha. She can do anything she wants, everything is justifiable, if God Forbid her character is questioned either RKS will throw stones or her followers will throw tantrums

Oh I pray and wish that they at least leave TE with some semblance of dignity and Shehenshahat what with having to apologize and weep and regret in front of Jodha WITH NO FAULT OF HIS TO BEGIN WITH 😡

adi, i agree with u 110%..there is no question of not punishing her..she should be punished and questioned! and jalal should not feel guilty after knowing the truth because being an emperor he has done the right thing!

When her father doubted her and was shouting on top of his voice and rest of her family was looking at her with suspicion then how come Jalal's one question proves him guilty and forces him to apologize ? Her father did not apologize neither her mother later tried to clear with rest of the family that she did it out of a good intention ! Jodha did not question and expected her parents to be sorry then how can she apply different rules for Jalal and his family ? Everyone is sympathizing her, but I do not pity a person who keeps on committing blunder after blunder and do not try to tackle the situation by using brains. If she keeps mum on Monday also, then I can clearly see that she understood him very little and thought about his family even more little. Is there no one in Agra who thinks about Jalal's safety ? If Jodha is the one who always have to be worried about Jalal's life and catch the culprit then I wonder how could our Emperor survived the attacks on his life before their marriage .

I just want her to apologize him and behave as a human being rather than a guardian angel ! Is it that much difficult for her ?

Jeannie, I am sick of posts which state that Jodha shd not forgive Jalal - forgive him for what???? For expecting that his family will be above any kind of suspicion thus helping him maintain the norms of moral and ethical behavior in his kingdom???? Yes there are members in his family who commit errors but when has he ever shown any kind of partiality in meting justice once he gets to know of their crimes with full evidence???? - so under those circumstances if he metes justice to Jodha how is he in the wrong??????

What to say, Adiana 😕 . Am speechless seeing the countless posts supporting Jo s current actions & demanding for a very contrite & remorseful Jalal pleading for forgiveness from a stonehearted Jodha. The real MUZ must be spinning in her grave hearing all this nonsense. But be prepared for the weepy & extremely apologetic Shahenshah when this track ends, that seems to be dead sure seeing all the spoilers floating around 😕

Adi, I agree with you completely, we are talking about an Emperor and she is a queen. And nothing can justify what she is doing, if vachan is very important for Rajvanshi's, even honour and husband is more important for a queen. And I don't see any reason that Jalal should apologise, even if he questions her about her night trips.
