It happened quite fast during the last 10 years and finally Hindi cinema reached where it was heading towards...the-gutter-level, and here I am specifically writing about the lyrics & thoughts.

I just watched kwk and Kajol mentioned her displeasure for that song "Toonh toonh toonh" didn't watched the movie (gori tere pyar mein) so I gave the song a shot at youtube just to know what Kadz meant and why, and omg, it was embarrassing enough to listen to that song.

Everyone who knows Punjabi know well that what a bad, vulgar & inappropriate this word TOONH is (literally means ass/buttocks... it is called Tuwwa, Dhuwaa, Tuun etc in other punjabi dialectc...goshh I even feel embarrased writing it but what to do have to express this, so no wayout).

The song goes like this "teray mere Tooh, punjabiyan daey tooh, sharabiyan daey tooh, hiltay dultay Tunh, tere mere chotay chotay, white white round round Toonh).. that means yours and mine buttocks, buttocks of punjabi people, buttocks of drunked people, buttocks swinging here & there, yours and mine buttocks are smal small buttocks, white white buttocks and round round buttocks... on top of that it was sung and picturized on a female, and they literally were showing everyone's buttcoks shots in that song... can u believe this height of vulgarity & cheapness 🤢

Insult to the injury is when in a popular award function they gave away youth-idol award to that idiot yo-yo-singha who shamelessly sung not just the vulgar but luiterally SICK & HIGHLY CRUEL song c***t vol:1 🤢
Also just happened to see the online poster of RAGINI MMS-2 where for 2 (sequel) they attached the tagline keeping in mind that po*nstar sunny "DO MAY ZYADA MAZA HAI".

I understand showbiz is a business and not teaching us the moral lessons, but there is a limit of everything, and having said that it is not their duty to totally destroy the values of us the new generation that is already on stake...as everything has an effect on human mind on some level subconsciously no matter how much we deny it .

What do you think, where are the limits (if there is any) of this industry going ? what can be the ultimate...and is there any hope to get back to our values... sigghh. 😕

Agree
Lyrics nowadays are not what they used to be earlier.

No wonder we still remember those beautiful songs, which almost seems like poetry

true, even if they are not memorable but for God sake keep atleast some decency ... I mean I am amazed how come censor pass such stuff that too in UA and U rated movies (gtpm).
no wonder "broad mindedness" became the new name of utter-bayghairtee in today's world...and it is SAD... really really sad.

Even po*n is lesser harmful as everyone knows its a taboo thing...but making such stuff acceptable in family based entertainment, is what I call a slow but profound poison.

I agree..the lyrics as well as the picturisation of songs have terribly gone down..They are absolutely substandard almost bordering to downmarket and cheap..But IMO the actual problem is the audience..people enjoy those songs..Be it Tooh or Fevicol or all the Leonne songs..Extreme objectification of women is done and people are fine with that..They even support it..You will always get to hear the crap of "Every kind of cinema has an audience"..I get astounded many a times to read such comments..But what to do..Everyone has a choice or opinion of their own and no one can object one's intellect even if its cheap and vulgar..😉😆

SOrt of agree, but come to thik of it there is a LIMIT to everything...favicol etc were fun songs, but "TOONH" oh my God... how come anyone can even listen to it, forget about enjoying with family...where the world is heading, I sometimes wonder :(

and yo yo singha should be banned imo for literally cruelly RAPING THE FEMALES THROUGH HIS C***T VOL1 sh1t, instead of HONORING him with the YOUTH-IDOL award that too in a never hearrd before EXTREME way.

sigghhh...thats what I can do coz words seems short. 🤢

See the basic purpose nowadays is to make money out of a mollie and get it declared as a hit. Passion for making a good movie and telling a good story is non-existent today Its always a short-sighted endeavour.

Film makers earlier used to face a lot of trouble in translating their dreams onto celluloid and that too with artistes whom they were convinced could not be replaced.

The scenario has changed completely today - hence RMMS2 starts with Hanuman Chalisa. 🤢

The entire situation is so gross - there is no integrity or dignity left, in most cases.

Maybe this is the age of loss of innocence for Hindi movies mainly. Just thinking.

not like we had any from starters!

the old was clean and HOW?

sri devi's "I love you" puts me to shame- the way it shows her entire body close shots and all those vulgar steps! Madz boob movement every time the word dhak dhak comes! that was clean?

I can quite honestly sit through bebo's tooh track and watch that with family than sri and mad'z so called iconic tracks!

yes some things are getting out of control but no one is forcing you to go watch Ragini mms with your family- its very clear that its not a family movie since day one

just like American pie is not for families in Hollywood but there is a cinema for every viewer right, suit your self!

True..Even in fevicol..the picturisation was vulgar..and there are some cheap lyrics in it too..And dont even get me started about Yo Yo..I hate the guy.,Simple..😡.He is just contributing to mindless sleaze content in Hindi Cinema..
There was a time when Madhuri did numbers like Choli ke Piche and all..I remember reading that the lyrics was critisized a lot..But the actresses like Madhuri and Sri..they were so graceful that it never used to look vulgar..
Now toh..we have the Miss Babydoll Leonne..and people salivating around her..so there is no escape..Its deteriorating..and trending towards worse..🤢
