To me both are equally responsible, but the onus fall on the girls most of the time and if they get preggo even in the West and the guy denies it, then a DNA test is in order. But, since PUrvi comes from a conservative backgrounds, even without a Sex-ed, the environment makes them aware of the consequences and mom's start giving very hidden lectures plus keeps a watchful eye..happens in all Indian household with a daughter, family becomes very stricts with their daughter's movement...this is real life. Now, as for Arjun, he is responsible too, but does the Guy really ask, if the girl was using protection - here I am plain curious...

Of course it would have been sad for her to let go of Manav but what is happening right now is much much more worse .

If Purvi had got engaged and also so close to Arjun then she should have gone ahead and married him .That was the right thing to do .. or else she should have never got involved with him and never got engaged if she was so much worried about her mother's life with her husband ...

You are right Tanya...none of what anybody did solved much in the long run, but of course its all hindsight now. It's true that Purvi's sacrifice didn't bring back the children to her mother, only Teju's confrontation and Savita's admission. I always thought Purvi felt not as important to Archana as the children she wept over. Not at all Archana's fault. But Purvi misread her tears and thought if she were keeping aai happy she wouldnt long and cry so much for everyone else, so there fore they (the other family) must mean more to her.

It wasn't true, Archana loved Purvi every single bit as much, maybe even more. Somehow though Purvi's little heart could never see that.

I am not mad at the characters...but i find it stunning in a negative way for Ekta, the CV's and writers to enjoy so much pain & heartache in the characters they create. This they think is entertainment???? Of course television is not the same as an author of a book who falls in love with the characters they create and wouldn't cause them so much pain.

I am so hoping they wrap it up when Anki leaves..I won't watch much if at all as it was for ARMAN that i watched, but i did get very attached to ARVI and loved them a lot.. i still do. i still want them together.. and i am worried for what the writers will do with sweet Dr. Onir. 😕
