I believe Varsha really does want to be a mother, she has realized her mistake and has paid dearly for it but now she is realizing there is hope for her and Satish's dreams. I've noticed how happy Varsha is when she visits the orphanage, she is at peace and really loves those kids. I am glad the CVs have taken this approach, it is much better than the ideas Bhavna had in mind!

Hi all,

Have been busy last few days, and I'm just catching up on the written updates and other threads. First off, Hope, you actually replied to all the posts on the thread, in detail! I applaud your patience, you, Varsha, Tanya, Kool and all the other thread-makers. Liked all the posts, Coming to the actual issue, Varsha seems to be serious, and Bhavna seems to be melting. So may be it will work out by going ahead with the adoption and leaving it there right now, maybe they'll come back to this issue of troubles between adopted child and Varsha and/or Bhavna once all the other current tracks are resolved. I also read something about special children in the orphanage-I dont know why that was mentioned, but I am certain Varsha is not ready to adopt a special child. Her maternal feelings towards a normal child is still questionable, and while all children have needs and demands, special children need to be taken care of every minute atleast until they're somewhat independent. This takes longer for a special child than for a normal child, and I believe Varsha does not understand what will be required of her and what she will need to sacrifice (definitely a career) if she goes for adoption of a special child. If Bhavna agrees for adoption, she may be more open to the idea of a normal child I think. Well, this is all only speculation now--we still don't know why that part was mentioned. Or maybe Varsha will find a new cause to fight for--"justice for and equal treatment of the special kids". That would actually be a good track, we might be able to see the original Varsha if that happens.

Finally, I feel somewhat vindicated reading about Bhavna's actions in the last episode (?). She took far less time to come to terms with her grief and actually visit the same orphans she had badmouthed just a few days back when her grief was still very fresh. I expected her to take longer since in PRland, it doesn't seem very long since Varsha told her the truth. She was written as sometimes stern, but mostly very sensible woman who listens to reason. And while the CVs could have made her character stubborn about wanting a grandchild of her own blood and doing anything for it (she would have had some reason if she did), they kept her original character intact and I'm glad for it.

I thought the way they handled the Adoption issue yesterday when Satisha and Varsha go to the orphanage was good. They very clearly stated the procedures involved for adoption. Also that they need to ensure the family is well equipped to take care of the child, etc, does not feel unaccepted, etc. I know that happens as my friend went through the process and they are very strict - and rightfully so.

Agreed - I don't believe she is in a position to adopt a special needs child. I don't think calling such kids (though most of us do it) alone special is appropriate - all kids are special:-) The better term would be "special needs" child.

You know what I feel is going to be an obstacle is Varsha's haste in aborting a child w/o Satish's consent..
When this orphanagelooks into SaSha's application they will find out more details about SaSha..Varshu might be looked upon as unstable or not right as an adoptive parent...Her action might come back to haunt her here...THis is the feeling that I get...
lets see what happens...But this is my gutt feeling..

That could very well be - she could definitely be perceived as someone not too stable or someone just not ready to take up the huge responsibiity of motherhood. She may have changed but the Orphanage may certainly be hesitant. As you said let's wait and watch.😊
