INSIDE Kritika Kamra and Gaurav Kapur’s sunset terrace wedding at their Mumbai home

Actor Kritika Kamra and sports anchor Gaurav Kapur are now married after choosing a registered ceremony at their Mumbai residence on March 11. The couple completed the formalities on the terrace of their Bandra home, with the setting sun creating a soft backdrop for the event. Close family members and friends attended the gathering, keeping the ceremony small and personal.

The wedding drew guests from both the film and cricket worlds. Among those present were Neha Dhupia, Angad Bedi, Farhan Akhtar, Soha Ali Khan, Malaika Arora, Rhea Chakraborty and Shahana Goswami. Actor Amrita Arora and Anya Singh were also seen. From the cricket fraternity, former players Yuvraj Singh, Ajit Agarkar, Ashish Nehra, Zaheer Khan and Virender Sehwag attended with their families.

Instead of organising a large celebration, the couple decided on a registrar wedding at home. Members of their team confirmed that the terrace ceremony took place during sunset, which naturally lit the setting for photographs. The evening remained relaxed, with guests interacting freely as the couple completed the formalities and later greeted those present.

For the ceremony, Kritika wore a Chanderi saree gifted by her mother. Gaurav chose an ivory and gold outfit designed by Raghavendra Rathore. In a joint statement, the couple said, "We’ve always believed that the most meaningful moments in life are the ones shared with the people you love. As we begin this new chapter together, we’re so grateful to celebrate our wedding surrounded by our families and closest friends at home, in Mumbai."

The couple will host a celebration for friends on March 12. On the work front, Kritika is known for projects such as Mitron, Bheed, The Great Shamsuddin Family and Hush Hush. She has also appeared in Saare Jahan Se Accha. Reports earlier suggested that she was managing long shooting hours while preparing for the wedding. Gaurav continues his work as a sports host and interviewer. He was previously married to actor Kiran Bhattal. The two married in 2014 and separated in 2021.
