The best part about her is how down-to-earth she is.

LOL are you talking about her role in Manmarziyaan?😆.....I'm not surprised that she impresses everyone she works with....I've seen her doing cameos in a bunch of movies and she always stands out in any bit of screen space she gets.....like I said, it's inherent screen presence and charisma this kid has.....I've seen it since her NBT days.

What really warms my heart is seeing her evolving into this beautiful young woman....aap log nahin samajh sakte unless you've seen her in NBT.....the people who've watched her grow up in real time really feel it the most😆.....that was her breakout role.....and she proved then only that even at such a young age, she had a pakad on timing and nuance....and the screen presence toh she had since day one.

At age 8, she had this level of charisma.

The only way to go from here is up. She's always been a special child.

😆. It would have if Aniruddh, Ashnoor and Lala weren't so good in their accents.

@bold ditto...she had such powerful scenes in NBT and she was just 8 😲

These gifs 😳...the top right corner one is one of my favorite scenes of the duo 😊She feeds him jalebi and he relishes it even though he does not like it otherwise coz he is in such a good mood 😆and then she enacts Renu with the 'minky man'🤣

The best part being the way she enacts Mohan himself, the chewing gum and all and then one of their tighest hugs ever

Ashnoor was fab in NBT... And shared an awesome chemistry with Kunal especially.... And I used to wait for Nanhi Spiderman more than Meghan there....

The girl now shares the similar bond with Anirudh here.... They are so easy in front of camera that their scenes just stand out....

I have to go find this show.

Of course, I love her work with Aniruddh, but have you seen how she pulls her scenes off with Sandhya ji? OMG!

That's a veteran actress with years of experience, an actor's actor and the fact that Ashnoor can still make her mark when in the same frame as her is no mean feat.

The way Sandhya ji plays NB is also a very nuanced very measured performance, that not many senior actors can pull off either. She's just perfect.

I still remember her narrating Imarti's diagnosis and death. There was not a false moment as she cried as a mother and a woman. I haven't seen any of her previous work, and have loved her from the day she entered this show, but that scene in particular made me a fan.

After all the cliched and stereotypical buzurgs we've seen on ITV, NB is truly a breath of fresh air. Yes, she's been written well, but Sandhya ji just takes it to another level. This is why I find Ashnoor's scenes with her so mind-blowing. There are many that I love but two in particular come to mind - when she's hugging NB and they are both trying to instigate Babita and HS to fight and when NB explains to Minnie that marriages are not fairy tales and they need work. It's not easy to make such scenes appear so seamless and natural but they both pulled it off.

She was terrific whenever she acted like Mohan! I don't know why I felt that not just Mohan but even Kunal was impressed by just how darn good Ashnoor was.

The chewing gum, the ae chavani, that perfect impression! I felt if only you gave her mini size Mohan clothes and untied her shoe laces, she'd be his daughter more than anybody else's.

What she's playing now are hard traits for any actor to play because Babita is being shown as a very complicated, confounding woman as she navigates this phase of getting married. Her complications form the backbone of all drama and other characters are shown managing her, rather than her character showing any growth.

I do feel Paridhi will do better if the writing gives her more to play with. Let's see.

I know what you mean but I would say that a good actor makes the most of the writing given to him/her, especially in Babita's case, where her back story is much more tangibly visible than all the nuanced/implied back stories of other characters. Yes, it's complicated but it's also quite explicit. She doesn't have to emote with her eyes to the extent Minnie, HS, or NB have to, just working on her diction and facial expressions would be a good start. I want to see her pushing the boundaries because I suspect she has it in her.

Perhaps Paridhi is unable to connect with the plot line. Whatever it is, I hope she pulls up her socks because much more emotionally challenging scenes are coming up and I hope she can live up to expectations to deliver the Babita who we want to see emerge from the ashes.
