Oh it makes sense, don’t worry. I do get your point too....she is not that level of exceptional actress to be able to overcome writing that shows her character in complex and twisted ways.
I remember when I watched the scene the first time, my heart got a bit heavy as I realized the depth of Babita’s repression in that moment....a moment where HS was crying in a heartbroken manner and she couldn’t move a muscle...she was literally almost hiding behind the door, clinging to it....barely even wanting to cross the threshold,...I found that symbolic of her state of mind....hesitant to step forward.
I guess for myself, I’m resigned to the fact that with Babita, there will be moments where even as a woman, I’m going to feel a sense of detachment....like an observer rather than feeling that emotion as a woman....and perhaps it’s meant to be that way 🤷♀️
Sigh.... yeah, I get you. I feel the same sort of resignation too.
