i am really sorry guys for not updating sooner. anyways, i won't make you all wait any longer.😛

CHAPTER 19

kailash stopped in front of a huge building & got deepa out of the car. she still had her blindfold on so she stumbled a little but kailash held onto her, not letting her fall. deepa was intrigued, this guy was so different from the men she had met in her life. "now I am going to remove your blindfold, open your eyes slowly okay?" kailash told deepa as the lift stopped at a particular floor. nodding in agreement & excitement, deepa opened her eyes slowly. her mouth fell open in shock as an astonishing sight greeted her.

the room she was in was filled with dozens of roses. all kinds of roses, in various colours. roses were deepa's passion & they made her feel happy & pretty by their beauty. "how did you know I like roses?" she asked kailash in amazement. he just smiled & beckoned her to an impeccable table set for two. "I do hope you like your birthday present deepa." kailash asked deepa rather nervously. "are you kidding me? I love it!" she replied & kailash just smiled back at her. they both got lost in for a while, just staring at each other till the waiter broke the moment. "here is your order ma'am." he beamed down at her as he sat down her pasta. deepa blushed slightly at the intrusion & wondered if kailash had actually realised that she was taken by him. kailash on the other hand was also slightly embarrassed. that moment that he had just shared with deepa confused him. "could it be that she feels something for me?" he pondered while tucking into the steaming hot pasta.

after pasta, deepa & kailash shared a huge bowl of chocolate ice-cream. they even had a little argument on who should eat the cherry atop of the ice cream. in the end, kailash gave it up to deepa who very sweetly shared the cherry with him. he smiled at her sweet nature & was just about to broach the subject of his love for her when deepa's cell rang. she answered it cheerfully but her face darkened considerably as the news sank in. "What? ajay has had an accident? where is he??" deepa enquired very worriedly. kailash knew that it wasn't the right time yet to propose to deepa so he volunteered to drive deepa to ajay. kailash was disappointed but he knew it was all for the best.

Nice chapter, but Ajay's accident destroyed it

CHAPTER 20

"please please drive faster kailash!" deepa urged him worriedly. kailash tried his best to soothe deepa's frazzled nerves and also had to drive fast enough to reach ajay's house. but 2 things bothered him. one, why was deepa so concerned about ajay? she liked ajay but she was now behaving like his wife. kailash couldn't help but get jealous. the 2^nd thing which bothered kailash was why ajay was being treated in his house after a big accident. he should have been in a hospital. as all these thoughts nagged him, kailash drove on to ajay's house.

the door of ajay's house was slightly ajar. it seems like they were being expected. as deepa pushed the door open, she was greeted by a surprising sight. ajay was standing in front of her. he looked hale & hearty & there was not even a scratch on him. her surprise turned into anger as she realised that ajay had lied to her. deepa marched over to him & started yelling at ajay angrily. "why did you lie to me ajay? do you know how worried I was when I heard you had an accident???" she screamed. kailash came over & tried to calm her down but she refused. "hey, hey. relax deepa. I want you to see something." ajay smiled at her & led her somewhere, he also motioned kailash to follow them.

ajay led deepa to a huge room full of people. it was decorated with loads of roses. the guests were also holding roses in their hands. a huge banner reading 'Happy Birthday Deepa!' hung across the room. the birthday cake was in the shape of a rose & it was 3-tiered. this surprise that ajay had thrown for deepa was much more impressive than the little sweet surprise that kailash had given her. kailash felt his heart sink as deepa broke into a huge grin, forgetting all her anger & the earlier surprise. kailash turned to leave but deepa stopped him. "thanks for this surprise ajay but I liked kailash's surprise more." deepa announced to a shocked ajay & kailash.

Beleive it or not, I thought Ajay was playing a prank and Deepa is going get annoyed. But I didn't want to spoil it, very nice going.
